When I see these people destroying things I think there is something wrong with this country. But when I see we have a heavily armed police force as well as National Guard deployed and there hasn’t been massive bloodshed in the streets (try pulling these riots in China or back during a real fascist regime like in WW2 era Italy or Germany) it tells me that we are not a fascist nation and that cops are a lot more professional and restrained than portrayed. They’re taking a lot of abuse in exchange for letting these Americans live. I’ve read some things by protesters saying how the cops have stood down out of fear because they are all cowards. No, they stood down because they don’t want your blood on their hands.
Saw a ton of these coddled pukes in the city. Fact is their lives are just too easy and lacking in meaning so they become impotent sjw losers. The fear in their eyes when we finally start using tactics is priceless. Reality can be quite rude.
Well said and thank you. I am not on the front lines like Marine77, but, have spent the last week with a Fed Tac unit, our orders are to be ready to be deployed in case of a terrorist threat from outside the norm.
From Las Vegas to NYC, cops have died this week, but, the death of David Dorn has bothered me the most. At 77 years of age, after a life time of service to his city, he was shot to death trying to protect his small town. His death sums up everything totally wrong about this violence. A good man, killed by somebody wanting a cheap electronic.
David Dorn spent his last moments on Earth bleeding to death on a sidewalk in front of a looted shop early Tuesday. He was a retired police captain in St. Louis and he was protecting a store.
Dorn was 77. His death was shown on Facebook Live

Getting shot by criminals is something that is understandable (though not acceptable) since that’s what criminals do. But to just ignore someone bleeding to death on a sidewalk is inhumane. BLM my ass. If life itself doesn’t matter then BLM is just another empty slogan for a political (not humanitarian) agenda.
It is, like most “feel-good” movements, a combination of both. I was invited to the rally in my town today so I checked out the BLM website. To their credit, they improved their look and messaging A LOT from the last time I checked it out, which was probably around the time of Obama’s riots.
At that point in time their list of desired actions and change was straight-up Marxist. Whoever passed for leadership at the organization was obviously very politically-minded. My guess is that they still are but the Marxist demands on the front page of their website were probably deemed a bad look, so they put much more reasonable messaging on their website. I doubt the Marxists in the organization have gone anywhere.
My town’s protest will mostly be a bunch of kids with good intentions and strong feelings. My buddy and I are going to social distance observe this afternoon and, if necessary, step into an “adult in the room” role, since we have friends on the force and friends in the protest.
Who knows if that would help, but this is Maine and we’re expecting mild tension at worst.
I checked it out a while ago and I was like, is this about police brutality, poverty, crime, education, etc., or the patriarchy, transgenderism, and “my truth”?
