Fuck guac adds 10g carbs! And the red sauce adds 4!

Oh well, 650 calorie salad where only 24 comes from carbs… for 8 bucks? And they don’t count DOUBLE MEAT BITCHES.

But yes, Qdoba is clutch. You can manage to eat pretty low-carb there if you want but also you can pack on the tortillas and rice if you are bulking too.

I find the prices pretty reasonable too. For about 13 bucks you can get two huge burritos which each pack about 1,100 calories of tortilla, rice, meat and cheese.[/quote]

Agreed. I like Chipotle, but if I had to choose 1 place to get my burrito, I’m going to the Q.

Chipotle does earn points for sponsoring a team in the Tour de France though.

Funny this thread was started because just couple days ago,I noticed they are building one few blocks from my house in Harker Heights…sounds interesting.

Anytime I go to Qdoba I feel like I’m cheating on Chipotle.

Locally, all we got is Borrachos. It’s not bad, but I like Chipotle better.

Does anyone else feel slightly ripped off for paying $6 for a tortilla, beef, rice, beans, lettuce, and salsa? That’s like…$1.75 worth of ingredients.

Why the hell would you want to go to Chipotle on your low-carb days? I go there to carb-up every weekend. Over 100g of carbs and 1000 cals per burrito, can’t beat that.

Yes but they manage to wrap them so skillfully. I have tried to duplicate the Qdoba burrito many times in my own house with no success. I finally gave up and just submit to to the masters.

You need to get the big restaurant size tortilla shells to wrap them right. The ones that you get in the grocery store are too small. Unless you want to make mini burritos, but then what’s the point.

White rice with salt and cilantro…that’s the only thing I can duplicate.

I used to go to Freebird’s all the time. When I first started going to Chipotle, I felt the same (i.e., cheating on Freebird’s). I prefer the Freebird’s tortillas, but on low carb, you can get a Chipotle bol and, if you don’t count fiber, you can definitely get guacamole and maybe even black beans.

Ya’ll need to come to Houston and go to Mission Burrito. Their burritos blow all other burritos outa the water.

I remember the guys from MTV Real World-Austin would always eat there and ever since, I’ve been wanting to eat there since the food looked really good.

I finally had the chance to eat at Chipotle when I was in Houston a couple of months ago and I have to say, the food was awesome.

No mention of Baja Fresh makes me very sad.

I had a 2 pound porterhouse yesterday. Lets see chipotle beat that.

baja fresh sucks. LOL sorry

Really? At Borrachos it just ends up a giant ball of burrito stuffed tortilla goodness. Everything falls out and makes a mess. I just need to find those big ass tortillas somewhere.

You guys gotta get the line item at Chipotle. You get three things on your burrito and they knock the price down to 4.50. Saves me enough so that I get two of em probably half the time I go. And, btw, Chipotle>anything.
