Man Boobs

hey im 18 years old been going to the gym now for a month and i been seeing some very very good results with my strength and muscles and i’ve lost 60 lbs since last summer however i have a problem that has plagued me for most of my life…since i was a fat boy when i was younger i still have a bit of “man boobs” left. will they ever go away?! i hate having these things

Youre gonna have to give it more time in the gym man, its great that youve started, but you’ll have to keep at it to see how your body reacts. Just make sure you are using a solid routine, if you are in there just benching every day, you’re gonna have overdeveloped lower pecs, and your overdeveloped chest will also pull your shoulders together, and these are two things that will only make the problem worse.

You are on the right path, but we need to know more, whats your diet and training routine look like?

oh hell na im not just going in there just benching, i target everything… my diet is high in protein, i try to watch fat and carbs (e.g meat, chicken, rice, whole grains) and trust me its been working big time i see great improvement in my arms, back ,legs but the chest is the only thing…

it looks good on top but then the shit kinda points out in the bottom shit is embarassing but it used to be a lot worse

Well, im glad that you are covering everything, but since youve only been in the game a month, i suggest you find diet and training programs from this site. Most likely, with time, and continued fat loss, it will no longer be a problem.

If you have the money, i suggest looking into an estrogen blocker and testosterone support, I use Rez-V from Biotest, but since you have only been training for a month, i say give it more time, make sure you are hitting your upper chest plenty, and keep at it, consistency is key here man, best of luck.

oh yeah im definately goona look into that thanks for the advice man you were a lot of help. but i have a question if you dont mind…is creatine good for me too?

well, i certainly dont think its gonna hurt anything, my only suggestion regarding creatine would be to just get a basic powder, no use in something that loaded down with sugar. I also suggest just using the regular dosage, i personally have had better gains using that method then the whole “loading” of creatine. But a mistake i made early on was relying way too much on supplements when my diet was no where near perfect. Might i ask what your daily diet is like?

What are you going to lift for? You going to do Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, or Strongman?

maybe u have a slight case of gynecomastia. its basically caused by glandular tissue in the nipple area and often develops when people are overweight because estrogen levels rise when you are overweight. You can look up gynecomastia on wikipedia.

Its a sign of high estrogen, try to eat as many cruciferous veggies as you can like broccoli and brussel sprouts.

relax homeboy. If you are serious about this then just read the replies that help and ignore the ones that don’t. If you start getting all fired up they will just keep harassing you.
