Magick's Training Log v2

So, we began sending the baby to daycare. I can workout in the middle of the day again. My God it feels so much better than late night workouts. I now prefer morning workouts if I can manage it, but waking up that early is proving very hard + I’m now convinced that doing so makes the baby wake up too, so no go on that for a while.

Last week-

double KB front squat with 24kgs and push-ups with 10lb sandbag in backpack.
10x5 on both.

KB clean and press with 16k and hanging knee raise-
11x5 on both. Felt pretty easy.

Switched to knee raises because I decided I want to do pull-ups in the morning instead. Been proving a bit inconsistent, but I think it works better.

10x5 on both. Went at 25 second rests in between. Felt pretty darn hard. I thought I’d be able to finish a tad bit quicker, but it ended up being a wash vs the previous session.

Today-
KB clean and press with 18k and hanging knee raise-
5x5, 7x3 on the clean and press
12x5 on the knee raises
Dropped reps because I struggled a tad on the fifth set. Felt a lot easier and so I went with fewer rest in between, hence the 12 total sets.

Dips and front lunges-
1x5, 2x3, 4x2, 3/2, 5x1=29 reps on both.

Dip strength is garbage now, but honestly this went better than I expected it to.
