Magic Mushrooms

It’s a great way to periodicly clear the mind of all the BS psychological constructs we erect. I notice that in the weeks following times I’ve used it I’ve been much more motivated and relaxed all at once.

All psychedelics, used correctly, are gifts to the spirit.

“Under unmonitored conditions, it’s not hard to imagine those emotions escalating to panic and dangerous behavior.”

Especially if you’re tripping in Las Vegas. Not that I’ve done it or anything…

Bummer

A good friend of mine is an intern for ABC, and pretty much put together that story. No real point, just thought I’d add that.

They report it like it’s something everyone didn’t know already…it must’ve been cool to have been a test subject tho… “Umm…could you up the dosage this time around? I didn’t feel anything the first time”

I need to get me some magic mushrooms. I’ve been stressed as a motherfucker lately.

And the “control” of methylphenidate isn’t half bad either. The test subjects either got to trip out or they cleaned their apartments and did their taxes 4 months in advance.

I did them once and had a bad experience, don’t think I’ll try them again.

I do not believe everybody would enjoy them, they are perishable. I have heard people having bad trips due to spoilage.

Or on a canoe trip, and imagining the 3 foot deep creek is shark infested(I really did see giant white sharks…sorta)

A friend of mine tried mushrooms once and never again. After eating them he decided to walk home…to El Paso, Texas from Portland, Oregon!! He was hospitalized for severe sun burn after walking shirtless in the summer for about seven hours.

I’ve never heard of the spoilage aside from shrooms tainted with mold while growing, but bad trips can definitely result from the nausea inherent in the shrooms. Some people-- myself included-- feel it more than others though. Ginger helps a bit.

ROFL! I’ve been meaning to try these for a while now. Now that they’re “in-season” I just might.

I loved my mushrooms when i was growing them. Specifically P. Cubensis.

Lots of spiritual/mental havoc. Usually start good, go bad, end great. Its all in the set and setting, at home, in nature is fine. Out and about amongst the public… no.

But i must admit, ive been involved in some wacky stuff, but i get a little iffy when people start to tell me what they “saw”, or did. Ive been irrational and delusional but never STUPID. Someone needs to explain to the public that psychedelics are often more of an emotional thing, then a hallucination thing.

This thread got me thinking of “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”

Best
Movie
Ever

What kind of drugs has everyone “experimented” with?

Myself, has only tried the wacky tobaccy, and cough syrup.

Read the book, kid. The movie never got weird enough for me.
