Thats my big problem here at home…and every thing I crave (mostly just cereal and fruit) is readily available.

Well, I’ve laid out a 15 week plan for myself elusive.

I haven’t decided what to day to start exactly, I need to go pick some stuff up. But, its not a crash diet or super low cal or any of that other nonsense that I’ve done in the past (it works for a while…but then I hit a wall and the same place). It’s gonna be almost more of a recomp than diet.

We should start holding each other accountable if you wanna start within a week. I figure if I could get four weeks under my belt and then get back to school, the ball will already we rollin’ so it’ll be a little easier.

GetSwole what are you current stats? I always see you posting really good advice and im just curious as to what your current conditioning is?

Ps are you a big golf fan? Living in florida as well as your avator> the golden bear is a ledgend!

Right now I’m weighing in about 205, have 4 abs, veins in quads/biceps etc (even though I’m not that vascular genetically) despite holding a lot of water since mixing carbs back in.

My guess, given what I told you about veins/abs, is I’m around 12-13% BF. Not sure exactly, but I’m definitely not as high as 15 nor am I as low as 10%.

gold fan? Yes.

Big golf fan? No.

My avatar is actually Bobby Bowden, long time head coach of the Florida State Seminoles (my university). Though, he does kind of look like Jacky in that picture now that you mention it.

I don’t care at all. The more active this thread, the more people will read it. I think its a good idea for people to try things out and log their progress for others to see. Im going to start my diet today. I have all the foods that I’ll need, so no use for me to wait (and get fatter). Im thinking about cooking all my food today for the next few days, but I’ve never done that before. I have lots of tuberware, a few pounds of chicken, and few boxes of brown rice. Im thinking that I can cook them all up and just leave them in my frige to heat up when its meal time. My oats and potatoes are easy to make when its time to eat (I use the microwave) so I don’t need to cook those. How long do you think these foods will last in the frige after cooking them?

Traditionally I’ve done mostly cyclical keto diets. I’ll going to continue a cyclical carb diet once I start this 15 week plan I’ve mentioned. It just won’t be quite keto because I’m gonna keep PWO carbs.
As for program, I’m in my first blast of DC training.

Elusive, chicken keeps fine for a week (in that it’ll still be edible), but generally 3 days is your max unless you wanna eat dry chicken.

Rice is fine.

I’m going to be starting within the next couple days, just needa get my shit together.

DC programs looks solid! Im thinking of starting Beast building in september!
Ya I find you need those post workout carbs! My muscles feel kinda tight when Im low carbing! I really want to try carb cycling like thibs wrote about that article where you have 2 high carb days 1 medium day and the rest low carb im hoping that will keep the fat gain to a minimum but my strenth fairly high as well as my motivation cause god nows i feel really crapy in keto!

Elusive I always cook my chicken breast ahead of time I boil them and then stow them in the fridge but i did work in a restaurant last summer and we cooked all our pasta and rice for the week on saturdays so im sure it will stay fresh! Way to get right back on the diet train!

Thanks again Getswole! Hope that 15 week program goes well for you!

Thanks for the info fellas. Im going to probably start cooking up the food for the week in a bit.

Ok, Im about to start cooking. This is almost everything that I’ll be eating for the diet. I got my oats, brown rice, potatoes, and ezekiel bread. My chicken breast (im going to have to buy some turkey for some variety). My cooking spray. My supps: Grow! Whey, Surge, Low-Carb Metabolic Drive and fish oil. Some spices ect. I’ve been reading and watching alot of Justin Harris’ work lately. I’ve been convinced to salt all my foods, so all my spices have salt and then I actually salt some more before eating. Of course, water is the only thing im drinking. I’ll probably snap some pics of the actual cooking process.

Cooking the brown rice and chicken breasts. The chicken have this pre sorted spice I put on, it taste pretty good.

All done. I didn’t cook nearly enough for the week, but this will help out for about two days. The whole prep. cooking and cleaning took up about 45 mins. The clean up was a pain in the ass, but thats part of cooking. Now its time for me to eat.

oh man that looks SOOOO good elusive I swear I could sit down and eat that whole pot of rice!

I almost nailed my macros today. I ended up eating slightly more protein and carbs. I was aiming for 1960cals, I finished at 2140. Close enough. Until tomorrow.

For some reason beyond physiology, I always had the best saturday workouts if I threw in a little bit of garbage into the carb load. I was so full and hard on the following saturdays if I indulged in a little pizza or ice cream.

DiPasquale reccomends dropping protien and keeping fat up during AD carb ups. I think going the pc rule has gone a little overboard.

I think some fat must be included to replenish intramuscular tryglicerides.

Well, I just had meal one. So, I’m back on the wagon.

fasten your seat belt. we’re in for long rides.

Indeed. I fully expect cereal and milk to be calling to me a couple days. Once I get through about a month though, things tend to get a lot easier.
