When it’s a lift of epic proportions, I’ll bernie to it. I hit that 425 last night with about 30 people in the weight area (yes, fucking packed) so that would have been great.

You’re on man. I was racing Racer377, but that bastard shot up to like, 485 in a matter of seconds it seems like, and I’m way behind.
After last night’s performance, I’m expecting to pull AT LEAST a 450 at my next meet (End of July/early August). And we’ll see how squats come along, over 315 would be fucking bad ass there. And if I can work my bench properly on meet day, I’ll smash a 1000 total. 1100 even. Yeah, a 185# meet PR in 4 months wouldn’t be too bad, would it?

Thanks you guys. Feedback and “congrats” are like fuel for me here. Also, I’m noticing that a LOT of you fuckers are really bringing it to the gym lately, and it’s showing with huge lifts. I gotta push myself just to try and keep up, so I thank you.
The gym I train at blows in the “intensity” department, so I use the place as my motivation and block out everything else. I “saw” dixie pull 600 in my head last night, so I pushed it and hit more than I really “thought” I could. I surprised myself. I love that feeling.
So yeah,damn right I’m upping my game, Count. I gots to! Shit, I even popped a little blood vessel in my eye last night hitting 425. That was a big thing to me. Felt like I “earned” the 425, and watching the video…I had more in me ![]()

Greg, I noticed it after the 405 lift, it fell over, so I thought it’d be sweet to just let it fall over each time. You know, for more badass-ness and what not.
Took an off day yesterday, I needed it. I’ve been so rediculously tired every day this week, and I just can’t catch up on sleep (5-6 hours isn’t enough, obviously) so I went to be early last night and woke up feeling mostly refreshed. Should kill it with a ME upper session tonight. I got my mini bands in yesterday, the light ones for DE benching mostly, so that was cool. They also threw in a card with a discount code on it valid through June 15th. If anyone’s looking to save a couple bucks, PM me and I’ll share it ![]()

Not a LOT done yesterday, as I was greeted right after my band work by my little protoge’ who I helped squat a couple months ago. He’s since been squatting 2-3x a week, doing a GOMAD, and has gained 15#s. He’s about 145 lbs now, so “small” to say the least. He just followed me around and I shot the shit with him between sets, and helped him squat. He did 95 for a bunch of reps, bunch of sets. When he gets out of bed this morning, he’ll probably collapse. LOL! Wait until I meet up with him on my squat day, I’ll kill him!
Moderately DOMSinated today, upper back feels “good”, chest feels a little beat up, and legs are fresh and ready for a DE session. Hope to get that in tonight.
