Sounds like itll work to me…but typically those trainers aren’t very bright, so be prepared to just hit him :stuck_out_tongue:

Squeezed in a lower de session tonight since my wife is out and the girls went to sleep early. It started out shitty, but that’s because I found out the bar I’ve been using at home is only 31.5#s. That means all my home lifts and pr’s have actually been 13 pounds less. Mother fucker. Nut then I realized why all my number dropped at the commercial gym, so whatever. I’m over it but still pissed a little, because now I’m using the bar and a couple 5s on it to get a normal bar weight. Again, whatever. I dealt with it. (insert .gif)

Heavy bar holds are just that: hold a lot of weight for time, no straps, for a few sets. Andy Bolton does them, and he pulls over 1000 lbs, so it can’t hurt, right?

Well one of my gyms does have a couple of good trainers. One of which i am friends with. He trains his female clients with the free weights and olympic lifts and etc. My friend and a couple of the trainers there have battle ropes, a prowler and a tire for hammering and flipping. He told me i could use all of this stuff as long as he is there to supervise since the prowler is inside and it is the trainers equipment. Just sayin not all trainers are bad.

Yeah an hour of cardio would’ve seriously made me extremely agitated. But good for you man, but i agree with with regards to watching something interesting while doing it. That wouldn’t be nearly as bad.

See, thats how I would train people too…but no one gives a shit to do that stuff. And it’s considered ‘dangerous.’ fml
