My friend is currently using test prop. On friday he hit his left cheek, as of yesterday it became swollen and painfull. It is not bruised. He said he aspirated, however when he pulled the needle out there was some blood on it. I think it could be 1 of 3 things. 1-i’ve heard prop hurts like a bitch, 2-he passed through a vein, 3-he’s getting an infection. What do you all think is the most likely scenario?

This is probably nothing to worry about…If it’s not hot to the touch (have him feel it unless you want to 
) and it doesn’t hurt for longer than a week he probably just nicked a vein.
I’m thinking it’s the prop, as he’s now hit his other side and the same thing has happened. I’ll ask him if it’s hot though. Thanks for the good replies, that’s why I love this board.

Have your friend warm up the Prop just a bit and use a lower gauge needle…
