Luke Cage?

First off…
Singleton…pimp
Stan Lee…pimp

I don’t think Tyrese would have a problem getting jacked up enough for the role. He’s already got the frame, and for the loot, I’m sure he’ll have the drive.
Tyson Beckford is pretty diesel too. Don’t know if he can act though.
50…nah.
Michael Clark Duncan might be too thick for Hollywood’s typecast.

Singleton will do a great job. I think I used to watch Boyz in Tha Hood everyday, followed by my copy of Juice.
“Ya’ll wanna see a dead body?”

And by the way…is Captain America shedding a tear in that first pic?

I haven’t seen it yet. Up until the newest movie Adam West had the best physique of all the Batmen.

While I like Samuel L. in just about everything he does, that one movie just didn’t do it. There was so much potential, but it just fell flat. I don’t know what it was. Maybe it was the story line or a lack the right amount of violence. I know the guy that played the main villain in that movie acted his ass off. He is the only reason worth watching it.

Wasn’t Bale the villian?

I agree. There was something off about the movie.

I think the plot was stupid. It had its moments but overall it was a big disappointment.

Yeah, he was one of them. He did good too, but his part was limited. He was the one who got shot at the end. I was speaking of the Puerto Rican guy though.

Haha, you must be referring to “Peoples Hernandez.” I love it when Venessa Williams told him to back off and he just kisses at her. The actor’s name is Jeffrey Wright I think.

Yes the actor is Jeffrey Wright. He is one hell of an actor.

He was a Dominican drug lord, not Puerto Rican. Not picking a fight, just clarifying.

Didn’t think you were picking a fight and I thank you for the clarification. I apologize for not getting that right.

One word, Bob Sapp…

(one word was meant to be funny, before everyone jumps all over me)

That bit where he comes out of his building stabbing himself in the chest with the icepick while challenging Samuel L. to a fight is just brilliant.

Yup. The baby belongs to Luke and Jessica Jones (the woman holding it).

Cap’s just a big ol’ softie.

(My favorite part of the picture is Wolverine going, “Coochie coo.”)

Isn’t it kinda what happened to the ‘Steel’ movie? Shaq definitely had the physique, heck only Michael Duncan Clark could’ve topped that, but Shaq can’t act if his life depends on it. Not that it matters to an NBA star, but when stardom is the only reason someone lands a role, it’s often a disaster.

Thanks for the image

What about LL Cool J, no one can argue he is not a well built fella. Never seen his legs tho, but his pper body is pretty damn good. He is also a resonable actor, Deep Blue Sea, SWAT etc etc.

Blasphemy. You can give no opinion of any more movies until you go see Batman Begins. Your responses are now void.

you may have actually seen him and not realized it, he is that good

ali, syriana, broken flowers, manchurian candidate

WTF is up with the Oarsman dude? I think X must have banged his girl or something. He’s really stretching.

Anyway. 3-6 months of heavy training, a lot of food, and even moderate doses of test would get Tyrese MUCH more jacked. And I have no clue about the 415…but it is possible. I’m not even saying probable, but if you take a guy that is normally pretty lean that works out regularly and get him eating a ton and lifting heavy, he can get strong quick. I’ve seen guys around his size get very close to 400 before.

And before you guys go bashing on how skinny Tyrese is, perhaps you should post pictures of how jacked you are at his bodyweight. He’s bigger than you’d think.

I know that I am a bit late on this, but I just watched a different version of Troy (titled: Helen of Troy), I believe it is by BBC America. It stars the actor who plays Guyus Baltar (sp) is the rapidly crashing remake of Battlestar Gallactica (he is also Bridget’s gay friend in Bridget Jones’ Diary for all you others out there who had to watch it with your g/f’s). Anyway, the guy they have play Achilles in that (much better, but no suprise, considering the source) movie looks just like what ‘The Greatest Warrior on Earth’ should look like. Just a thought, I will get his name and post it tomorrow, maybe try and get some photos. The issue seems, with American movies, that the directors feel the need use one of the ‘popular’ actors, regardless of skill or morphotype. Sometimes I get the impression that whole of America only has 15 males actors suitable for major movies. What would be wrong, from the position of a director, with assembling a pool of actors, based off of required characteristics (NOT based off of how well the corporate feel-good movie they did last spring did), then having an extensive testing process. How many actors are there in college theater programs (and you can’t tell me Brad Pitt has more acting skill then the average college actor), some of them are bound to look like they could play a Vemon (I know, different thread) or Juggernaut or Luke Cage. If American Idol can produce a ‘quality’ singer (I am not suggesting any director televise their casting), why can’t a four or five week assessment come up with a workable actor?

Star Wars (the original movies) is still considered a classic and they used relatively unknown actors. I think Hollywood has forgotten about things like that and money is the only thing driving the casting choices instead of who truly fits what role.
