Further to my previous post let me give you an example of how I have used this tool. About 8 months back my bench press was stuck at the same weight for a long time. No matter what I did, no matter what I tried, I could not get past 3 reps. Sometimes I could only get it to one rep, other time I could do three but the majority of the time it was 2 reps. This was frustrating the fuck out of me. I didn’t know what else to do. I had tried Date Tate’s recommendations, Charles Poliquin’s techniques, I added more volume, pounded the fuck out of my triceps and lats. Rested my triceps and lats. Nothing was working.
One morning while doing cardio I got this idea to try seeding my lucid dreams with the bench press problem. To actually dream of lifting heavier weights. For the next week I had a few lucid dreams in which I was able to direct the dream toward my dream body pressing heavy ass weights. Now I cannot remember all of these - it’s been too long. But there is one that sticks in my mind and I often recall it when setting up to do the bench press. It was the dream I had when using Yohimbine.
Now let me tell you something about my Yohimbine dreams they always wind up with someone or something out to get me. Whether that be getting pursued, being setup, or hijacked in some way. But it always turns out that I feel so confident in these dreams that I am able to always foil my adversary in some way. These dreams really kick ass.
So in my Yohimbine dream I am setting up under a bar that is loaded with some massive amount of weight. I look up to see my spotter and realize that it is a woman body builder of JonEightPackGuyish proportions and as I look back further I can see her huge angry red throbbing clit pointed directly at me. She does not like me staring at it so she starts yelling abuse at me. Spit was flying out of her mouth and landing on me. The abuse is just getting louder and she is getting more worked up by the second. I just kept staring mesmerized at that huge clit when all of a sudden she unracks the weight laden bar and lets it go over my chest. The bar comes unexpectedly hurtling down toward my chest, I quickly place my arms under the bar and catch it right at the point where it starts to impact on my chest. I quickly press it up and rack it. I now make it a point to not look back at that clit.
All seems well and good. I setup for my next bench and as the bar is being unracked the bitch gives it a shove pushing it arching toward my upper thighs. But not to worry I am able to stop it just before it crashes into my thighs and I swing it back over my body and rack it. I awoke from this dream feeling extremely confident and highly motivated. It was a blast.
Now let me tell you something about lucid dreams they are not the same as what you sometimes experience when wake up and can remember what you dreamed about. With a lucid dream you feel everything as it is in real life. Catching the bar just before it hit my chest was a huge painful jarring impact that I felt through my wrists, elbows and arms. Stopping the bar from slamming into my thighs was a tremendous effort. My shoulders felt as though they were being ripped out the sockets. You remember all of these feelings as if they occurred for real. Every time now that I do bench press I can recall the above experience as happening to me for real.
After a week of lucid dreaming about pressing big weights, I walk into the gym knowing that I was going to kick ass on the bench. I actually pressed out 8 reps with ease. I kid you not. I was able to add 10Kg to my 3 rep max and I have not experienced another plateau since.
This is just one of many experiences I have had with lucid dreaming. I have also applied the tool to help me with my fat loss and have had amazing success with it.
Everyone should practice it. I highly recommend using the supplementation to get the best experience.
