WILD - Keep your consciousness while falling asleep and go straight into a dream.

MILD - Fall asleep while focused on your intention to remember that you’re dreaming.

WILD seems to happen naturally for me. The best is when something is real exciting, yet very dangerous, cause I can do crazy shit I would never do in real life but feel like its real.

I should add the freakiest are the lucid dreams where something happens that you should die. It’s just one hell of a feeling, hard to put into words.

Vegita, if this only happens when you’re really wasted, I’d say there’s nothing to worry about. But if it happens at other times, you really should see a doctor. Bedwetting can be a symptom of kidney or neurological damage.

This thread came up at an interesting time for me… I just started having some creepy dreams. The past week or so, I’ve had this same exact dream. I’m climbing up the shingles of my high school with my mother…and she just lets go a falls to the ground. I then promptly wake up at exactly 3:26 A.M…and then I stay up a while, thinking…then fall back asleep and proceed to have many other creepy dreams…but this is by far the weirdest.

Then, last night(after reading this thread for the second time) I become “conscious” in this dream…and I fly down to “catch” my mother and save her…but I still wake up at 3:26 A.M.! This has been creeping me out, and I was wondering if anyone else has had any experiences like this.

Does anybody have dreams where they come back to the same place over several nights over and over every time?
I’ve had this happen to me at least a dozen times in the past year or so.
I’m basically inside a a home gym or a gym of some sort with a house by it. but i can freely manipulate and add to the objects in and around the house. probably the best dream i had here i wrote about on my xanga back before myspace went big, heres the post:

" so i had a dream yesterday.

i was doing some heavy deadlifts and snatches and such.

every rep was really difficult, yet i got every single one up.

i woke up heart pounding with the biggest adrenaline rush, warm and relaxed under the covers.

it was the greatest feeling i have ever experienced.

that is why i love strength sports."

That was one of the best dreams i’ve ever had.

Is there some sort of exterior cue that triggers it? Like a noise from a distant train or a broken watch burried somewhere?

I have lucid dreams every once in a while but even though they are usually incredibly fun, they fuck up the following day. I don’t feel fully awake all day after one and if I remember the dream well enough I’ll still have a toe in it so to speak.

Oh man, I get these all the time. I’m really floored that it can feel so real without actually happening. I guess it’s fortunate for me that my bladder doesn’t let go very easily!

I have had the pissing dream I think twice in my life, both when I was a teenager. I am in my 20s now. It was the same both times – a typical, run-of-the-mill dream, and it would end with me running into the bathroom, standing over the toilet, and letting a stream run loose. I would immediately wake up, though, to actively peeing myself. It was never that I peed in the dream and would wake up later to a wet bed – I always woke up right after I piss in the dream, to find myself in the process of pissing in real life.

I have had the pissing dream before without leaking myself though, maybe two or three times as well.

In terms of this thread as a whole, I used to lucid dream when I was much younger. I was just able to do it naturally. I think my mind stopped doing it when I was about 8 or 9 years old, and I would love to be able to do it again. I very vividly remember being able to control every single dream I had, and my mom was never surprised when I told her. She was more envious that I could lucid dream and she couldn’t.

I don’t remember most dreams, but the one’s that I do are actually pretty frightening and tend to stay with me a few days after they happen.

These dreams typically start as relatively mundane stuff, but then they shift gears. You all know how hard this can be to put into words, but it’s almost like a theme or emotion is turned directly into a vivid experience.

I distinctly remember dreams three dreams that I can only describe as dread, haunting curiosity, and sheer terror.

I know this sounds corny, but I awoke after these dreams with sweat on my hands and forehead, and my heart pounding out of my chest. After all three of these, I woke in the morning, but I was still even afraid in the light of day.

I don’t mind a dreamless at all.

I feel really lucky.

I’ve never ever had a nightmare that woke me up, or even a nightmare I remember.

All of my dreams are pretty tame, except that one where I was Gandalf riding my horse down a mountain into a horde of orcs. (Sweet…)

For example, last night, I had a dream about chilling with some of my best friends. Just chilling, in this yard that was really well landscaped at night.

For the longest time I would wake up at 6:53 AM (earlier than I was intending to) exactly everyday. Different dreams though. I don’t think its anything to worry about, just your biological clock.

There is actually a quite easy way to have lucid dreams very often, and fact is everyone who can dream can also have lucid dreams, but this technique is obviously hard to follow in everyday life:

Get up after 5 or 6 hours of sleep, stay awake for 1 hour, then get back to sleep using the MILD technique.

Someone whos working hard on it can have lucid dreams every night this way. The biggest problem is to fall asleep after being up 1 hour, if you do so the chances of a lucid dream are very high.

Having a lucid dream is very exciting, but i seldom get clear enough to realize all the possibilities i have in a dream.

The coolest shit is to fumble around with girls i have a crush on, but unfortuneatly i wake up once it gets to exciting. But its still cool to do with chicks u could never get in real life.

Interesting stuff. I was just looking around at howstuffworks.com and got caught up in their article about lucid dreaming.

It’s funny because it says anyone should be able to do it with practice, yet the link earlier was also from howstuffworks.com saying that only 100,000 people could do it.

I personally believe that just about anyone could do it if they try hard enough.

I’m going to work on it and see how it goes.

In my opinion practicing Lucid Dreaming should be a MUST HAVE tool for every gym rat. It’s a powerful tool for building a strong mind. I would add it Joe Defrancos list of five psychological strategies (Strong Mind, Stronger Body). I can only speak about it from my own experience of practicing it for the last 1 1/2 years and achieving more of my goals in that period of time the ever before in my life.

One of the KEYS to unlocking the ability to Lucid Dream is proper supplementation. I highly recommend the ebook “Advanced Lucid Dreaming - The Power of Supplements” by Thomas Yuschak.

Here is the protocol I use. It works almost every time for me.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday

In bed by midnight, awake at 5:00am.

6:00am: 45min of Cardio
7:00am: Choline Bitartrate (250 mg) , Galantamine (4 mg)
7:15am: Back to bed for some lucid dreaming.

There are three additional supplements that can be used in combination with the two above which have different effects.

Biotest Alpha-GPC; increases the length of the dream. I can go for up to 90min with this.

Nicotine Patches; gives me nightmarish type dreams without the fear, and having extreme confidence.

Yohimbine; give me extremely vivid dreams. I usually use this one to help solve problems.

100k people? That’s a joke. I first heard about this in a psych class. Took me only a couple nights of dreaming to get it down. It’s pretty cool the first few times but I don’t do it anymore. It just adds to my stress level having to think about sleep. lol

Further to my previous post let me give you an example of how I have used this tool. About 8 months back my bench press was stuck at the same weight for a long time. No matter what I did, no matter what I tried, I could not get past 3 reps. Sometimes I could only get it to one rep, other time I could do three but the majority of the time it was 2 reps. This was frustrating the fuck out of me. I didn’t know what else to do. I had tried Date Tate’s recommendations, Charles Poliquin’s techniques, I added more volume, pounded the fuck out of my triceps and lats. Rested my triceps and lats. Nothing was working.

One morning while doing cardio I got this idea to try seeding my lucid dreams with the bench press problem. To actually dream of lifting heavier weights. For the next week I had a few lucid dreams in which I was able to direct the dream toward my dream body pressing heavy ass weights. Now I cannot remember all of these - it’s been too long. But there is one that sticks in my mind and I often recall it when setting up to do the bench press. It was the dream I had when using Yohimbine.

Now let me tell you something about my Yohimbine dreams they always wind up with someone or something out to get me. Whether that be getting pursued, being setup, or hijacked in some way. But it always turns out that I feel so confident in these dreams that I am able to always foil my adversary in some way. These dreams really kick ass.

So in my Yohimbine dream I am setting up under a bar that is loaded with some massive amount of weight. I look up to see my spotter and realize that it is a woman body builder of JonEightPackGuyish proportions and as I look back further I can see her huge angry red throbbing clit pointed directly at me. She does not like me staring at it so she starts yelling abuse at me. Spit was flying out of her mouth and landing on me. The abuse is just getting louder and she is getting more worked up by the second. I just kept staring mesmerized at that huge clit when all of a sudden she unracks the weight laden bar and lets it go over my chest. The bar comes unexpectedly hurtling down toward my chest, I quickly place my arms under the bar and catch it right at the point where it starts to impact on my chest. I quickly press it up and rack it. I now make it a point to not look back at that clit.

All seems well and good. I setup for my next bench and as the bar is being unracked the bitch gives it a shove pushing it arching toward my upper thighs. But not to worry I am able to stop it just before it crashes into my thighs and I swing it back over my body and rack it. I awoke from this dream feeling extremely confident and highly motivated. It was a blast.

Now let me tell you something about lucid dreams they are not the same as what you sometimes experience when wake up and can remember what you dreamed about. With a lucid dream you feel everything as it is in real life. Catching the bar just before it hit my chest was a huge painful jarring impact that I felt through my wrists, elbows and arms. Stopping the bar from slamming into my thighs was a tremendous effort. My shoulders felt as though they were being ripped out the sockets. You remember all of these feelings as if they occurred for real. Every time now that I do bench press I can recall the above experience as happening to me for real.

After a week of lucid dreaming about pressing big weights, I walk into the gym knowing that I was going to kick ass on the bench. I actually pressed out 8 reps with ease. I kid you not. I was able to add 10Kg to my 3 rep max and I have not experienced another plateau since.

This is just one of many experiences I have had with lucid dreaming. I have also applied the tool to help me with my fat loss and have had amazing success with it.

Everyone should practice it. I highly recommend using the supplementation to get the best experience.
