Low Testosterone Symptoms at 19?

So I am 19 years old and I have symptoms that very closely resemble the symptoms of low testosterone. I have been training for a few years and even with a good training regimen and diet tailored towards gaining mass, I really have not put on much muscle at all.

Symptoms Include:
-No sex drive what so ever, that isn’t normal for a 19 year old male
-Getting an erection is nearly impossible, and when I do it isn’t a very high quality one
-Very low fluid levels
-My left testicle has a horrible ache that comes around just about every day
-I am always tired. I have no motivation to do anything anymore.
-Most of the time I am in a bad mood, and I am pretty depressed most of the time

  • I also have body fat that no matter what I do, it just won’t go away

These are all the symptoms i am having. With me being 19 I know that this isn’t a normal thing, but with all the given symptoms should I consider getting my levels tested?

We have many guys here who are young. Not that the problems are that common, but many of young guys find their way here.

Because many of the symptoms of low T are the same as low thyroid function, it is important to consider thyroid issue, if only to rule that out.
Have you always used iodized salt?
Do you get cold easily?
Gaining fat and cannot loose it? [yes]
Low energy and depression [yes]

This is the lab work that would be good:
TT
FT
E2
LH/FSH [important]
prolactin [important]
AST/ALT
CBC

Evaluate your overall thyroid function by checking oral body temperatures as per the thyroid basics sticky.

Testicular cancer is a young man’s disease. Get the aching testes examined.

If prolactin is elevated, a MRI is used to see if a prolactin secreting pituitary adinoma is the cause. If so, that is easily managed with 0.5mg Dostinex/cabergoline per week.
