Low E2 Level - How Long for it to Rise?

First, yes I searched this, but there was no answer to my question, " How long will it take for my E2 to rise?"

My history and labs: 45yo 6’2 260 lbs
T shot 200 mg 1x week, arimdex .5 2 or 3x eod (mostly 2), hcg 2 x 250

June/ 2012
Labs drawn 1 day before T shot, results:

Total Test 980 range 119-714
Free test 311.5 range 41-179
% Free test 3.1 range 1.6- 2.9%
albumin 4.5 range 3.4-4.9
SHBG 14 range 6-58
estradiol <12 6-58

I gave blood the same day, AFTER blood was drawn for labs.
Since giving blood, I have felt great & had great workouts. My Hemoglobin was 16.2 range 13.0- 17.5, prior to giving blood. Prior to giving blood was tired, excessive sleeping was wondering if I had sleep apnea, (do not according to DOC), so I don’t know if giving blood could affect this? This was one of reasons I went to get bloodwork done.

I took my T shot, was told not to take arimidex to let E2 levels come up. How long should I wait? 2-3 weeks?

For comparison here are my labs from June 2011
Labs:
3 days after Test shot:

Estradiol 28 / 0-39.8 pg/ml range
Free test 198 /47-244 pg/ml range
% free test 2.9 / 1.6-2.9% range
Total test 676
shbg 18

Bloodwork drawn before shot taken/ Testosterone shot day

Estradiol was 16/ 0-39.8 pg/ml range
Free test 215 /47-244 pg/ml
% free test 2.7 / 1.6-2.9%
total test 799
shbg 24

Thoughts/Answers?

What does:

mean?

half pill arimadex, twice or three times a week every other day… mostly I have been taking it 2 times a week

Every other day would indicate it is taken 3.5x/week. That is why I am confused. I’m not sure why you are saying EOD. But I understand your dosage now.

So taking it twice a week (1 mg total per week) which crashed your E2 levels to < 12? If you can quarter the pill, it may be best for you to take 0.25 mg 2x/week instead.

So, should I wait about 2-3 weeks before starting back on .25?

I would maybe wait about a week personally…

Hey Iron quick question, how was your libido with your E2 level that low and any joint pain?

I have never had a problem with that, LOL, but I feel like I just woke up from a hundred year sleep. I thought I had sleep apnea, Dr. said no, I was sleeping on average 16-18 hours a day and still exhausted. No joint pain. I feel great now levels coming back up ( hello acne), but I get up at 5 am train hard, no more naps, great sleep. Lesson learned, stay on top of bloodwork.
