And you need to remember to adjust fat intake when lowering carbs so your not starving yourself, which will inhibit your energy. Also try creatine and some sort of stimulant (some good ones in the store here) to help you get through your workouts. Losing weight is work, just think your trying to fix a lifetime of mistakes in much less time than that, so it will come slow with lots of hard work.
well I am not on a low carb right now but you think i should be? I also never though that 100g of carbs were high. I mean right now I just cant grow. Idk what to do, I’m not adding any muscle. I just tried to eat cleaner and run more now in general.
Is a low carb diet but with higher calories right for me?
Also, I was told to eat carbs in sources other then fruit and veggies, which one is it?
I dont really get the body type thing, anyone else think I’m an ecto? I thought cuz of the gut i was an endo but I just read about the thin muscles and stuff.
anyone else think I’m an ecto?
You are not an ectomorph… lol

Oh, you’re an “ecto” like him?
This is proof that not only do most of these classifications not matter at all, but that many don’t even know how to use them.

I know!
You’re trying to pursue two goals at once. quit it. Pick one. Want to drop some fat? Then you won’t be gaining a ton of muscle. Sorry.
And you are not eating low carb. Let me make it simple for you: You do not consume starchy carbs unless its during or after a weight training session.
Here’s your diet so far, whatever day it was:
-2 whole eggs and veggies with EV olive oil
-School salad with no dressing, water, fruit, cookie
-Protein shake with PB, whey and some oats
-Chicken breast with bbq sause and veggies
-Yogurt and some cottage cheese.
Here’s carbs you should not have consumed if you’re trying to do a low carb type thing: Cookie (COOKIE, wtf?!), oats, BBQ sauce, Yogurt. Cottage cheese also has some carbs in it, but that can be negligible. Yogurt often has a TON of sugar in it if it’s flavored, check it out and see what’s in there.
LOG your intake! At least for a few days. www.fitday.com.
Pick a goal, go for it, and listen to Tiribulus.
Finally, if you want to eat clean, there’s no better way than making a menu for yourself and posting it somewhere visible. Stick to the plan, and you’re good to go. This also means that you can prepare food ahead of time so you’re not flying by the seat of your pants–that equates to less cheating.
Good luck!

HAHA, I don’t know how that came out. Hours straight of reading this site must of messed with my brain, there is nothing ecto about myself nor him, haha
boyscout hit it on the head.
You need to be real with yourself here. If you want to lose weight, lose it. If you want to build muscle, do it. Maybe you can carb cycle, target your carb intake for gym days and go low-carb on off days (if a pure “low-carb” diet doesn’t work for you).
Stick to something, though. If you want muscle, find hypertrophy-inducing workout plans and eat at a slight caloric surplus. If you’re looking to cut, go for a caloric deficit and supplement your loss with HIIT.
Point is: figure out how much food = your caloric maintenance level. Then, given your goal, eat in that manner. Note: all of this stuff pops up after using the search function.
Also, I’ve found cutting to be easier with stimulants (coffee, green tea, going to try black tea today).
Right now I guess Ill try to gain muscle since I have like none. Ill try to eat low carb on off days and get more active, hopefully that will drop a little fat.
Just a question, hows this diet look? Its pretty extreme but its low carb but also meant to add mass, and just look at it, i dont see how you cant.
Idk if I’d neccasarly do this but what do you think of it?
Breakfast: Pack of bacon, (real from the farm with no preservatives) cooked in a generous amount of virgin olive oil, 5 whole eggs. Bowl of oatmeal (only carbs for the day.) with a glass of raw milk
Lunch: Chicken saled with 2 chicken breasts
Dinner: 5 steak burgers with cheese cooked in olive oil
Before bed snack big glass of milk
I guess the burgers would be eaten with out buns obviously but also I’d space those out every hour or 2.
bump for the diet up there ^^^^
What you think of it?
