I can’t believe how great the Hood Calorie Countdown milk tastes! Maybe I’m crazy but it tastes better/creamier than regular 2% milk. It doesn’t have that sorta sweet after taste, obviously from reducing the carbs. Only 24 grams of carbs in a whole half gallon. Only 40 if its Chocolate.
I work midnights and I’m in a car most of the time. Tonight I’m gonna drink a half gallon in between meals. I got on sale at Kroger for 3 bucks a half gallon. Seems like a nice, cheap supplement.
I use Hoods Calorie Countdown, too. I use it to mix with my protein shakes and it saves quite a few calories per day. I also like it straight up. Great product!

This milk is awesome. I actually like the chocolate version better than traditional chocolate milk.

x2. . . . People look at me funny when I purchase it at work (I work at a grocery store). They always give me shit buying it, and I tell them that it tastes AWESOME!
I’m drinking about a half gallon everyday. It just tastes so damn good. I’m trying to gain weight but need low carb as those little carb thingys go right to my gut. I basically drink this milk all day long like some people drink soda or tea. Don’t need the lactate pills anymore either. I think I’m going to start drinking it while I work out.
I’ve had Hood’s calorie countdown chocolate milk. It was amazing. However, I’m a huge fan of Velda Farms’ chocolate milk too, so it’s a real tough call for me.

Do they sell it in Canada?[/quote]
I don’t know if the Hood brand is sold in Canada but when I was in Niagra Falls, Canada in February I went to a grocery store that had something very similar (same type of nutrient ratios). I can’t remember the brand but it wasn’t Hood.
