What do you think guys about eating low-carb bars as a snack?
They are pretty usefull while being on the road or at work.

Everyone I’ve seen is loaded with stuff I don’t want and most contain a high percentage of junk protein.
Until there’s a better alternative, stick to beef jerkey, nuts, fruit, MRPs and the like.
They also tend to have high soy protein content.
What about Atkins low-carb bars…I heard that the protein blend is not that bad…
grimskunk,
Make your own protein bars. That way you know what is in them and they are cheaper than store “crap” bars. If you are looking for good recipes check out JB website or do a search on this website.

I tend to agree with Chris here. Still I keep a few protein bars in my trunk due to the long shelf life and covenience factor. Plan to eat the whole foods, but I’d rather get my protein and take the sugar alcohols and other bullsh*t than go without protein for an extended time. At least the Next Nutrition bars have quality protein (30 g whey).
I started a thread a few days back requesting Biotest to make some quality protein bars that lacked all of the bullsh*t, but the consensus was that most people still desire good taste. After all, nothing satisfies the palate like a few grams of sugar alcohols topped off with some artificial sweetener. Pansies.
Like Chris suggested, perhaps you can keep some MRPs with you? Rubbermaid makes 1/2 liter rubber/plastic bottles that work great for transporting around powders that come in containers. Find a drinking fountain, shake, and you’re good to go.
Bastard F*ck Guy
Make your own beef jerky, they make better snacks than the average protein bar.
Hey, I’ve noticed that you came from Quebec…me too…
I’m pretty suprised, because you’re the first one I saw.
How do you make your own beef jerky and also I was wondering if you tried to order the MAG-10 LEGACY…cause I’m about to do so…but I worried about borders…what do you think about that?
Thanks.
