I’d rather get some loving over some fighting any day. Fights can usually be avoided, it just has to be handled right.

What kind of wise crack is this? A T-Nation poster cannot enjoy street fighting?
I enjoy street fighting and I enjoy beating someone down me and my wife does not like. And if I get my ass whooped, well then I learned something valuable there.

Sorry Pete. You just took a steep nose dive on my respect-o-meter.
E-thug. Well, I do know some BJJ so far and boxing. What’s the point of having strength if you can’t use it to save your life?

Is there a third option?
Deep down, I think you know the answer to your question. I am truly sorry, Neph. But, no matter what anyone says, you’re a winner in my book.
I want you to do the following each morning: look into the mirror at yourself and say, “I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and gosh darnit, people like me.” Then smile and have yourself a great day.

Thanks, Stuart!
I’m a lover, but I’m hardly afraid to fight.
I’ve noticed that the nicest guys in the gym tend to be the biggest…the idiots who seem to have something to prove tend to be the smallest…
Alright it’s been a while since I used this line but the great Dalton once said, “Nobody ever wins a fight”.
I’m a lover and proud of it.
Probabaly more of a lover. But i always liked the slogan on Genki Sudo’s website:
“I’m a lover and a fighter”
Both. And a drinker.

It’s up there with, “Pain don’t hurt.”
Fuck that movie was great, I don’t care what anyone else says.
Lover!

Which one are u?
Over 70% of people on this board claim to be:
1.The second coming of Bruce lee
2.Experienced MMA experts
3.Great street fighters
4.All around badasses
Its rare to see a person who will claim not to be a fighting champion.
So any lovers left in this world or does everyone start fighting the first person they come across.
I got told once to never fight a ugly person as they have nothing to lose.
Peace

A nice blend of both.
I am certainly not the second coming of Bruce Lee, but i am trained to do a lot more then just handle my own. I dont pick fights, but i am not going back down from one… And i wouldnt say i am a bad ass… but i play one on stage. And after 27 tattoos i at least look like one.
Yeah… id say im a nice blend of both.

I love that flick. Shit, I actually saw it in the theater.
As far as a lover or a fighter - I don’t know. I’m trained - TKD for many years and a bit of straight western boxing, and I certainly love women (most specifically my wife).
That said, I certainly don’t go looking for any kind of trouble, I just like to know that if it shows up I at least have a chance to defend myself and my loved ones…
