How Tough Do You Think You Are?

Here is an interesting question:

How tough (able to fight) do you really think you are? For example, out of 100 random guys aged 21 to 41 how many would you be able to beat up?

Do you think that you are a better fighter than only 10 of them? Do you think you could handle 70 of them? Think you are bad enough to ranked at the top?

To be clear, I am talking about one on one encouters where no one has an emotional, or any other advantage other than what he brings with his two fists (feet etc).

How tough does the typical T-Man think he is?

Is it squaring off and then going for it or can it be a suprise attack?

100! Why not, and if any of you don’t believe it, LET’S GET IT ON!!

Well I have a rather large martial arts background, and I have anger problems.
So let’s do the math.

6yrs Tae Kwan Do + anger + adrenaline + Power Drive = A GOOD FUCKING TIME!!!

I’m probably not as strong as alot of you older body builders, but I think I could handle myself in a fight. I hate to say it, but strength isn’t everything when it comes to a fight, flame away :).

I say bring the bastards on. I’ll step up. Whethere I win or not who knows, but fuck it. I’m game. HA then again I’m young, and my testosterone is raging. You know how ignorant us young guys are.

Dumb thread. So dumb in fact is this thread, that I feel like kicking your ass.

Who cares? I guess with all of the MMA popularity, everyone thinks they have to kick ass all of the time. All I want to do is be able to move around heavy shit, look good, and be able to fuck well (in reverse order).

But to anwser your question: I could throttle 95% of the general population but probably only 50% of you T-Nation badasses.

BFG

I have black belts in TKD/HapKiDo/Combat Hapkido…so what? Doesn’t make you tough. What makes you tough is knowing that you could end the life of someone…and walking away.

You know what would be totally bad ass. An anonymous internet fight club. You rate yourself similar to what we’re doing now.( BTW realisticlly I’d say I’m a 96. There are some badasses out there.) Or by just on a scale of 1 to 5. You would be paired up with a guy on your level in your area. You can even have input about their size, fighting style, etc… Sort of like match.com for fighting. You just show up to the given locale and mash on em. No names, no pre-fight hoorah, no emotion… just fight. If afterwards you want to hang out (in a hetero way) that’s your choice.

Is hitting in the face allowed? If so, I fold like a cheap chair.

this is a really stupid question, anybody who would ask this doesn’t really understand what violence and fighting really are.

I guess you could decide that between you too. It’s a meeting place for people who want to fight, not a tournament so it’s all up to you.

'Cause I’m pretty tough if I don’t get hit in the face. Especially the nose. My eyes water when I get hit in the nose.

So maybe if there was just no hitting in the nose - I would fight.

Well I would take you all because I would bring Dave Tate and hide behind him while he does the ass whuppin.

Tough enough to say, hey, I don’t wanna fight, ain’t gonna unless my life or the safety of friends and family is on the line. And yes, I can fight. This year makes 13 years I’ve been training in the martial arts.

of fights I’ve had to win becuase the sumbitch was gonna hurt me: 0

Number I’ve walked away from or deescalted verablly so i didn’t ahev to fight the sumbitch.: way too many to remember.

As far as toughness goes, yeah i’m tough. Popping broken fingers back into place without screaming like a little bitch, and I’ve done it 3 times, it means you’re tough.

And accident prone

My glock is pretty tough, I think it could go 100 for 100.

We talking point blank or at a distance, cause me, at more than 50 yds, with a glock, I’m no better than 50%. Never worked much with pistols.

Now make it a Remington 870 12 ga, 100% no doubt.

I was thinking the same thing  I don’t want the possibility of any broken bones. Kinda hard to lift weights with something broken

been in many street fights and brawls. never lost one on one even being outsized by a few inches and at least fifty pounds. im not that big to start though.

ive been beat up pretty bad once, and decently once. the bad one was fifteen on one as about four hundred people sat there and watched me get jumped.

the other is a pretty good story, a bunch of dudes roll up in my room at my fraternity and start a fight in there. i took on three taller guys for what seemed like eternity but was really only ten seconds probably. something out of a movie the way i was ducking punches and haymakers. eventually they had me pinned and i was just on gaurd taking punches and protecting the pretty face and all. they were not very strong because ive been punched in the face by a friend and it was the hardest hit i ever took. nothing i could do but try and cover from hits and keep my girlfriend at the time from getting hit until the same friend who is also in the fraternity and a few other brothers rolled in and it was clean up time…

the cool part was those who saw the fight from outside of the room thought i was insaine the way i held my own for a few. it was a confidence booster and yet at the same time not. sitting there taking punches is never fun, then dealing with a girlfriend who is histerical after… really sucks. i would rather be decently beat up than deal with the gfs emotions of seeing it happen.

That’s what I’m saying. My nose is like the size of volkswagon. It gets broke, I suffocate and die.

People just don’t brag about this kind of thing. Maybe if you did a poll.
