Lol i know exactly what equipment is responsible for that!
On 77 back on its maiden deployment, our plumbing was so bad it was in the news. Articles are still googleable!
But no showers… we never had that for more than a few hours.
They came back on today thankfully
Gyms are back open. I cant wait to get in there. I’ve been eating like its my full time job. Starting this month I’m going to up my calorie intake by adding a meal. It’ll be interesting to see how it effects my weight loss and strength in the gym. If I start to gain weight again I’ll probably stop the 4th meal June 1st.

Good energy level today. Had a crazy wait time to get into the gym today. Felt weaker than normal but I’m going to chalk that up to the long break, hydration levels, and not taking my creatine for the last 2ish weeks. Arms tomorrow.
Is that 100lbs per dumbell for flys, that’s impressive.
Nice catch, I need to fix that lol. def not that strong!
I think you are good, I just need to read a bit slower. LOL

I love this community. There have been a couple unhinged post lately that have brought me a ton of entertainment, which is paramount out here. People looking for advice and turning troll and another guy that is completely delusional about his ascetics. Wild place, great community, even better advice if you can check your ego.
Don’t post a BF% request without a men’s size 11.
Don’t’ ask for advice then try to argue the advice.

Back day tomorrow.
The shoe is just canon T-nation at this point and I love it ![]()

Cardio - Bike - 20min 130 watts or more
Today was pretty rad. I have a new gym partner. She’s trying to shed a few pounds and asked for my help because of what I’ve been able to accomplish out here. She’s never really lifted so I’m having to show her form which is making me realize I might be fucked up. So this has lit a fire under my ass to make sure my form is perfect and that I’m slowing my reps down to get a good stretch and contraction.

Barbell High Pull - 90x10 110x10 135x8 135x8
Trying to find a good weight for this, 135 was rough but felt like the right weight for now.
Cardio - 30min bike 130 volts or higher.
Felt great today other than the heat everywhere. It’s currently 94-100 in my shop. There’s currently no escaping the heat.
Some of the posts on this site really make me want to get on TRT. I wonder if I can get a prescription while on Active Duty.
213 days at sea.
Got a couple days off on my count, correct now
**Leg Day #2 **
Bulgarian Split Squats - 70x10 75x8 80x8 85x6
single dumbbell, reps per leg.
Hack Squat - 135x12 185x10 205x8 225x6
should have done more weight, next week I’ll probably start at 225
Single Leg Press - 295x10 365x10 365x10 365x10
Probably wont do this again, ROM wasn’t the greatest on this press.
Leg Press - 385x15 475x10 565x8 665x8
Start higher weight next time, I’m wasting effort starting too low
Heel Elevated Goblet Squat - 85x10 90x8 95x8 100x6
Should have gone heavier
I’m noticing that I’m not lifting as heavy as i should be. I still have a lot left in the tank after some of my sets. I need to get out of this work my way up mindset.
Day 214 at sea.
Rest day. Chest tomorrow. Going to approach this week with a “nothing left” mentality. Hopefully I can tell a difference.
Day 215 of deployment
Chest
Tried to flex between every set to work blood into my chest more. Could tell a significant difference in pump, pretty interesting.
Dumbbell Bench - Warm up 90x20 100x15 110x12 130x6 130x6
Left nothing in the tank, final set of 130 was absolutely brutal
Dumbbell Fly - 40x12 45x10 50x9 55x8
Dumbbell Incline Bench - 85x11 90x9 95x9 100x6
Incline Fly - 35x10 40x10 45x8 50x6
Standing Dumbbell Decline Fly - 20x10 20x0 20x10 20x10
Much tougher workout than normal. Going higher reps and trying to die every set then taking short rest times started to add up. By the time I got to incline bench I was pretty shot, but I was still able to focus on hard contractions.
216 days at sea.
Forced rest day due to water issues. In the meantime here’s all my meals for the day.

Not pictured is the Legendary Foods protein cinnamon roll I had or the Transparent Labs protein shake. Wasn’t a huge fan of the roll tbh.
Giving me flashback nightmares, man. Not Navy, but I was in the Marines and did a Med float with the 6th Fleet. The food was edible, but the worst part was the fact that we had to stand in line for 3 hours at every meal to get it.
That’s insane. 3 hours is crazy!
