I meant to say first time I have ever been able to see my abs.
I hear ya Mightmaus but I know that if I was afraid to lose my 6 pack, I would still weigh 210 lbs at 6’2".
I don’t plan to stop growing for a while so a six-pack isn’t a priority for me.
Plus, in another thread, at least 2 women chimed in and said they were kinda taken by a “bulk belly”.
I know that I’m no Brad Pitt but I’m not unhappy with my past sex lift at all.
Plus, don’t forget about stardom and what THAT does for your sex life. I remember when Pearl Jam was super popular. I couldn’t colunt the number of girls that would DIE to be with Eddie Vedder.
I would think “You know he looks like a homeless person right?” and would tell them “If you saw his look-a-like twin picking through your trash, you would be disgusted by him and think he was a dirtbag!”
Yes, fame has lots to do with peoples “taste” in others.
Ryan Reynolds body as well as Brad pitts is “mainstream” ideal physique.
As a bodybuilder we are not mainstream, so of course some people find us repulsive to look at, but Fk em.
I think the number of people on Earth with a body image that reflects reality can be counted on one hand. . .
Just like other people have said- this ‘bigorexia’ is just another way to push to be bigger and stronger than before. Also, I doubt any of us get so beat up over it that we grab a wine cooler and watch General Hospital with a pink bathrobe on and tears flowing.
Get bigger.

Erotic male photography?
Anyways, I can also relate as how sometimes you might see yourself smaller than what the scale weight says. It can probably be from a bad week or a comment from a friend. I use this motivation to push myself in the gym and continue eating to reach my goal. The thing I’ve learned in the past is not to do something crazy to help get there faster. For instance trying a new program that will add 20 pounds in a month or cutting calories drastically or some BS like that. I know that this will take time, but the rewards will definitely pay off.
Learn how to spread your lats, you’ll look better from the back, but from the front too! It will make much better pictures.
Pull your shoulders down and outward. You could also mimic a pull-up squeezing the lats real hard in front of the mirror.

thats called imaginary lats syndrome. when your big enough you dont have to do this.
but as far as other non-lifters perception, i wouldnt worry about it too much. the brad pitt physique may be ideal to mainstream, but anyone here who got to that level of leanness would be satisfied for about a minute…then start trying to get bigger.

keep lifting
thats all any of us can do
its our nature to never be satisfied when you are thast when you stop what your doing and thats when you fail

Yeah right, is it as bad as the imaginary biceps syndrome?
i think if we didn’t have some sort of “disorder” we never would have had the drive to get ourselves to change at all.
