How long have you been cutting? What was your starting weight? Are you engaging in resistance training?

I’ve been cutting for about 1.5 months.
My starting weight was around 97 kg, and I’m currently about 89 kg, so I’ve lost roughly 8 kg.
Yes, I’m doing resistance training. I average around 12,000 steps per day and train about 4 days per week.

8kg in 6 weeks! You’re off to a great start.

These days many coaches lifters say to cut for about 12 weeks at a time. So how about continuing the cut for another 6 weeks, and then seeing how you look and feel.

Keep doing what you’re doing and in the mean time, keep an eye on your step count and your progress in the gym.

Your steps starting to drop off, or having trouble adding weight to your lifts are signs your calories are too Low.

i can not increase weight of dumbells i dont know is it normal or maybe because im cutting weight ( sorry for my englsih i am turkish german englsih is my third language)

You have not been able to increase the weight of your dumbbells for the entire 6 weeks you’ve been cutting? Or just for the last week or two?

It’s “normal” for progress to slow down when you’re dropping calories and losing weight. But you want to make gains for as long as you can.

Lack of strength gains Early in the weight cut usually means you’re not eating enough. Or that you’ve dropped calories too far, too fast.

At 19 years old, ANYTHING that you are doing that does not allow a constant increase your strength is WRONG. These are newbie gains and they are as easy as gains will ever be.
