another back shot with a shadow (not THE SHADOW)

crappy front double bi (right elbow still dipped) and the wife snapped the photo before I flexed the quads…

People.

This is a Powerlifter physique. Large and muscular, but not asthetically pleasing to the vast majority of the youngsters who use this site.

Powerlifters generally do not have muscle definition, but they do have most of their size in muscle, just hidden under the bodyfat.

If he were to diet down 20 lbs, he’d get a better rating from the teenybops…but who gives a rats ass about that right?

OP.

It takes dedication and drive to get to where you are. It’s a lot harder to build muscle and strength than it is to cut some fat off. I give you an 8 for size a clear bulk. Some people just don’t get it.

It’s telling that a 3x rating comes out before anyone posts a comment. To me, I only rate when I give a comment too. I’m wondering if T-Nation can give us web stats on % of normal system, users providing a rating vs lurkers. If you rate someone a 1-6, you should have the sand to tell someone why.[/quote]

I don’t have a lot to add, but I agree with this guy 100%. You look thick and bulked up right now, plenty of muscle - if you wanted to ‘look better’ as expressed in your opening post all you really need to do is lose some bodyfat. The muscle is there.

and finally a weird twisting shot…and that is all I got for now. No need taking more pics until I cut up a bit. In a few months I should have some pics that get a better response.

Any recommendations on a good sunless tanner?

Got a few comps (Highland Games and PL) in Nov so I will be hitting the weights hard and I also have a PT test coming up so I will be doing more cardio/running…just got to get better on the diet!

Thanks again,

Jerome

Yes! You look quite a bit better than in the first pics. The improved definition [dropping a little weight and the better pic] helps highlight the gains you’ve made over the years.

So in Nov 07 I did my highland games and smoked my division, setting one field record in the process. The next day I went back to enjoy the festival with my family and my son wanted to try Scottish Backhold Wrestling so I said “what the hell” and I signed up to. I ended up shattering my tibia, breaking my fibula, and destroying my left knee. I went from 210 and about 14%BF to 180-185 in less than a month!

After 7 months of feeling sorry for myself, the wife kicked my ass off the couch and back into the gym. Since then I have worked back up to 220lbs and got my bench up to 380 touch and go (raw). I have had 4 surgeries on the leg/knee in the last 18 months. I have recently pulled 405x1 and 315x10. I have squatted 265x4 but my form was not solid so I have been working with lower weight (205-225 for top sets) and working on rehabbing the leg. I am a lot wider and thicker than I was before but I am also carrying more BF (estimating 18-20%).

Here is the video of the leg break (turn up the volume to hear it snap)

recent back…still lopsided (right lat bigger) one shoulder higher than other

My weight is ten pounds more then you.I just don’t know.We have about the same stats.I just can not put my finger on it right now so I’m going to wait to rate you.I want to see your lean up pictures. Then I will rate you.
