Did you know… during the scene where the two guys look in The Rectum for the rapist that the director knowingly put in a sound which emitted a low frequency - Something like 55 hz or something. Whatever it is is actually scientifically proven to cause nausea and feelings of dread when heard. Combine that with the cinematography and what have you, and voila. Damn good movie.

By the way… have you seen any of the August Underground movies? There’s three of them, and they’re extremely hard to find. Not much story but if it’s your cup of tea there’s nothing better in the market.

I’ve never seen that, but did a imdb search. I was physically shaken after watching the rape scene in Leaving Las Vegas. Something about that just really stuck with me.
Have you ever seen the movie Happiness? It’s very uncomfortable to watch.
One of my favorites in Strange Days. Every few months I smoke a bowl and get lost in the intensity of that movie.

I liked ‘Eden Lake’.
Kinda realistic for a genre movie.
Funny Games is not bad, either.
Be sure to watch the German original (it’s available with subtitles), though. Although the remake isn’t too bad.
