Right because there aren’t multiple examples posted in this thread of women being held accountable for their actions.

What beliefs are you even referring to?
that women are held accountable for their actions.

maybe you’re right, but the “justice” system definitely does not hold them to the same standard as it does men… shit… even the same standard as it holds underage boys.
And the Justice System doesn’t hold the wealthy or the famous to the same standard as the poor or regular Joe. Point being, that’s an indictment of the system not women in general or in these rather rare cases.
right, that’s what im saying.

women receive special treatment in the justice system, the divorce system, and the family court system.

doesn’t stop them from complaining all the time tho lol
A lot of people get special treatment in this world.

This came across my desk and I thought it might help redeem this waste of a thread.

According to the website: Over five years ago, 11,341 unopened, untested rape kits were found in a Detroit Police Department storage unit. Thousands of brutal crimes, reduced to a collection of bar codes and untested kits. Cases that remain uninvestigated… and sexual offenders that remain free.

Enough SAID (Enough Sexual Assault in Detroit) was formed to raise money for the testing of the kits, as well as the investigation and prosecution of these forgotten crimes. Economic constraints in Detroit and Wayne County mean we cannot bring these criminals to justice without your donations.

Enough SAID (Enough Sexual Assault in Detroit) is an independent collaboration between the Wayne County Prosecutor?s Office, the Detroit Crime Commission and Michigan Women?s Foundation to bring justice to forgotten victims of sexual assault.

We?ve been granted federal and state government funding to get testing started, but 2,300 unopened kits still remain. Help us raise the money to test these kits, and investigate and prosecute the cases. Every victim deserves justice. Help us get that justice and make our community safer for everyone.
…so that 100% of all donations will go directly to our cause.

I just made a small donation, and titled it “In Honor of Mr. Walkway.”

Edit: I’m not affiliated with this group in any way.

^The story itself is sad as all hell. How do they not have enough money to test rape kits…

The donation part is damn funny though.

I feel like prosecuting rape would still be a pretty high priority…

This is Detroit we are talking about. Not even Robocop can save that city now.

They are actually rape kits from all of Southeast Michigan.

I agree it should be a very high priority.

Aside from this things are looking a lot brighter in Detroit lately. Of course people that have never been there or only know what the media tell them will still have their input.

Since this thread got necrobumped, it seemed appropriate to mention there’s now an app for OP’s dilemma.

Pro: Electronic record of mutual consent which definitely can’t be faked, made while intoxicated or reneged on.

Con: I can’t envision a scenario involving this app that is actually followed by consentual sex.

Came across this bleak article today. Seems appropriate for this thread.

The sad fact is that both rape victims and victims of false rape accusations get treated really badly.

Either the words of the supposed victim is believed absolutely or completely ignored. Both lead to bad deals for the involved parties.

fresh off the press

and you thought ‘yes means yes’ was asinine

oh look… mattress girl’s false rape story is falling apart.

why do women falsely accuse men of rape?

Nothing in that story implies that it is “falling apart.” For the other two charges, it isn’t unheard of for people to become so fed up with the whole ordeal that they just drop the charges.

it’s coming to light that she wrote him cutesy facebook messages like ‘I misssssss you’ etc and bullshit like that, trying to hang out with him AFTER the alleged ‘rape’. you can’t delete facebook chat messages

look at the feminists with their bullshit pseudo science trying to navigate this new information LOL ‘well umm, it’s not uncommon for women to behave irrationally after being raped… her behavior falls was completely normal for someone who had just been raped’

sure women… the man brutally raped her (including anally), and then beat the shit out of her (no bruises or markings tho…weird), and she’s trying to hang out with him shortly afterward LOL

her story is not ‘falling apart’… it’s absolutely disintegrating

I wish you could block a thread…

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that there is someone willing to post these BREAKING NEWS: BAD PERSON alerts so I don’t have to wander blithely through my day-to-day life thinking that there are no bad women, only bad men.

I always thought the feminists were the only people brave and true enough to say right out loud that not everyone’s good and gentle and kind. Now I see that there are other unflinching tellers of disagreeable truth.

Could be a form of Stockholm syndrome.

It’ relevant because this liar got an invitation to sit next to First Lady Michelle Obama during the Obama’s State of the Union speech on the basis of her false allegations. She is held up as a victim.

Of course, like most agenda items pushed by the modern Left, it’s all based on lies.

you should only talk about things of which you have some sort of understanding.

I can see why, as a woman, you aren’t concerned about men being falsely accused of rape.
