I just got a post on FaceBook from NateDogg…he is on the phone with Tim Patterson (pretty cool) to discuss the situation.
He said that Tim is going to call Kuz next and discuss his concerns.
Now that is pretty damn cool of him to take the time.

I don’t doubt your experience for one second. In fact, that has been my experience 95% of the time. But wait until a mod removes a completely harmless post of yours, preventing you from getting a simple answer to a question about a product with no explanation whatsoever of why it was removed, and see if you still feel the same way.

I buy my Biotest stuff from a small supplement shop. The guy has a large logistics store tough so he buys stuff in bulk. I save some $$$ that way. Having said that I really am a proud to be a member of this site…and let us be honest. Compared to other mods on other sites (eg. one starting with an A), the one’s on T-Nation are VERY forgiving. Just pointing that out.

This is a major gripe of mine. It isn’t like I post threads without thinking about it, so screwing with my thread titles and changing them simply because the mod who did apparently didn’t understand what I was getting at, sucks.
On the other subject, two of the people gone are guys I consider friends. I have their phone numbers in my cell phone and speak to them at least once every six months. As much fighting as Rainjack and I did between each other, we still respected each other. The same goes for Nate.
This website started something by acting like it was NOT a major corporation many years ago. It inspired many of the posters here to consider this as more of a refuge (maybe even some weird sort of fraternity). In an environment like that…where members have proven how serious they are, have helped others and overall made this place better from its inception, I would hope these are the types we keep around.
I admit to not knowing every single detail. I am just surprised at how this went down. Some of these guys actually believed in this place…whereas many newer members are just here to occupy space and fool around, none taking this seriously.
When this site loses the ones who truly used the site and felt there was something more here, all that will be left are the fakes and frauds.

We sometimes change thread titles so they fit in the space allotted. We also may change a title so it more accurately reflects the post. And, just like a newspaper editor, we try to give titles that may pique readers’ interest so they’ll click on the thread.
Do we err in judgment at times? Probably.

First of all i personally havent had many issues with mods and anything they edit/delete has been explained via PM. I have however made topics that dont ever appear multiple times, and no explanation has ever been given.
As to you prof x, do you really think it matters to Biotest if the “old boys club” of the T-Nation forum leave? Sure noone likes losing a customer and yes we all have people we consider friends and we all appreciate the information and advice tossed around on these boards, but honestly, the old boys would be forgotten in a week.

Rainjack has been gone for MONTHS and apparently he has not been forgotten in a week. I have been off the forums in the past for up to 6 months and I was not forgotten in a week.
Now YOU, yes, if you were to leave, I doubt anyone would notice. The same can not be said for all of us, so yes, I do believe they care to some degree…or else TC wouldn’t have responded to this thread at all.

I’ve been censored talking about supplements, training (I hardly talk training anymore, god forbid I should insult a contributor) and little girls. I’ve seen others not get censored for stating basically the same things I tried too. I once took note that Zap Branigan was allowed to say almost exactly what was deleted on me in a training topic.
I once had a post changed to actually mean something else. It wasn’t a mistake, they purposely changed the meaning. On the flip side I asked a moderator to remove a post I made. He didn’t. No explanation. No explanation was needed though. They act to suit their own interests. I posted a picture of a babe and they get the benefit of her image while I take the blame if she doesn’t like it.
Bottom line, I don’t ever remember being censored by a female moderator. I think TC is just throwing the former employee under the bus to diffuse a delicate situation. Tim wouldn’t be on the phone with those three if it was just them but now that it’s out there on another website…

Also, no one is in the dark about this being a business. I doubt the mods or anyone else could find one post of mine outright degrading a supplement here short of simply saying I don’t see the point in buying for myself. I avoid that because this is a business and this site is their personal project.
The forums, however, have evolved in part because of the contributions of MANY of us. While LowfatMatt deserves much credit along with others for being so “cybernetically inclined”, that entire bodybuilding forum took a HUGE change for the better because of several of the posters here as well as some mod action.
