If and when these things happen, they’re not “corporate” decisions.
They’re decisions made by mods who try to make the best judgment call possible.
Achieving consistency from mod to mod is difficult, though, but I believe 99% of the problems were caused by the mod we let go.

When I do get “censored” I totally agree with it, Also sometimes it leads to some pretty good PM’s with the mods who are actual real people so thats cool. Plus I always imagine the girl ones to be wicked hot blonds with huge tits wearing hardly any clothing and pleasuring themselves to the thought of diciplining me. What thats normal right?
I’ve had one message from the mods telling me not to advertise. I thought it was strange since the entire thread was talking about other brands. But still it wasn’t a big deal.
While I’ve had several posts ‘edited’ because I inadvertently mentioned the ‘M’ company, I do understand why the higher ups here have to look out for that sort of crap (damn shame how our society works in that regard though).
Still, there was one thread where I mentioned that I wasn’t happy with ONE product, and my response vanished. As a very loyal customer to the Biotest Line, for my own supplements, as well as the countless clients and friends I’ve turned on to them, it did rub me the wrong way, but look at what an amazing resource you have available on this site, and then remind yourself about the ‘crap’ articles written by 16 year olds they publish up on BBing.com.
I will point out though, that many years ago, when I actually was a little less than thrilled with one of Biotest’s products (and I was making a very meager living at the time, so I was quite unhappy), they refunded my money, no problem, and I continued to try the new stuff that came down the pike (and am very satisfied with my monthly staples).

The problem of “free speech” is a simple matter of property rights.
The question is whether or not a property owner has the right to allow any speech on his property or not and whether or not someone else not connected to that property has rights that supersede it.
Sometimes I think lawyering is just one big racket…

Yeah, I was going from the torts/defamation standpoint, not the public/private fora, since the anti-slapp suits are almost always defamation.
It’s a real shame those guys left. I wonder what really happened.
As for modding… If that’s over, who knows what the deal is with the new Grow! Whey’s price? And if anyone’s ordered Metabolic Drive chocolate recently, is the old flavor back?

Don’t try and get all lawyerly on me, sister. You’re kind is the reason there’s so much confusion about justice.
The forum thing is real. They can get fucked if you post the wrong thing, as technically they own the site, therefore company property being used to defame an individual.
On a Football (soccer) forum I go on, they are so strict about libel and stuff as its run by BSkyB. You cant post pictures of people from real life without their permission, cant do ‘hitlists’ (group pictures of girls, you pick the best), cant make certain jokes. So many other rules, you even need a work/school/uni email to sign up so that if you libel someone/break the law using the site, you get fucked not them.
But its still a hoot on there.
Anyway, I got censored today, quite rightly, but the mod in question forwarded my question onto customer services and left it at that. No complaints here!
