Log - 1st Cycle Test E

Yikes, I was taking up to 9mg and waking up tired all the time. Almost every time I took a nap I’d have very vivid lucid dreams too.

Can’t imagine 1,000x that

End of cycle and up until PCT. The difference for me personally was night and day.

You can’t really overdose on LSD, but that doesn’t make it a safe drug. (Even though I think it’s relatively safe in doses up to 150 mcg). The German government is really strict about that kind of stuff.

4th pin today, today is day 8. These last two pins have been 300mg on Monday/Thursday, as the rest of the cycle will be. I will be adding DBol in the last 6 weeks (9-14, right up to PCT).

So far no noticeable changes other than obvious increase in skin oil production. Usually when I shower I use a moisturizer on my face but in these last few days I’ve noticed if I can just deal with dry skin for a few hours it will moisturize itself haha.

Another thing worth mentioning is that my libido is increased and orgasms are stronger. Probably a placebo effect at this stage but hey, who am I to complain?

Finally, I am up about 6 pounds (179 to 185) but I attribute that to the increase in food volume. I am eating so much chicken/rice and oats/eggs that I about want to vomit by the evening. I think the majority of those 6 pounds can be located in my colon.

Just be careful you don’t gain the wrong kind of weight. I’m guilty as sin of overeating and eating the wrong shit on test blasts. I know the feeling, sounds like you’re consuming the right foods though.

Day 11, noticing very slight increase in acne on my shoulders and a little on my face too. I wouldn’t quantify this as “outlier” levels quite yet but it is definitely more than average right now.

Heart rate is concerning. I was in lab meeting this week and after being seated for 2.5 hours my fitbit was ranging 98-105. At one point it was 120. But I did have some coffee and about 7.5mg Adderall about 30 minutes before the meeting. Otherwise, my HR is usually in the 90s. A short walk will get me up to 130. The weird thing is, a resting HR of 105 used to make me feel like my jugular was about to burst but now I honestly don’t even notice - I actually feel less agitated/anxious than I did before, but that is not reflected in my HR. My fitbit shows that I do not dip below 80 even when I’m sleeping. It says my resting HR these last 2 days has been 84. Wow. There was a peak around Oct 20th, and the day I returned to 76 is the day I began my cycle. Since then it has been steadily increasing, and I have even reduced my Adderall use.


Libido is still steadily increasing.
Weights are increasing but I’ve been lifting more frequently.
Soreness is still at normal levels, no marked difference yet.

EDIT: It’s now 4:30pm, I’m catching up on homework and my HR is 118. What the hell is wrong with me ??

Weird dude. Mine is always below 60 while laying down even on cycle. Of course the minute you get up and walk around 70-80 is normal. Anxiety can elevate it but that’s a pretty high number for sitting and reading/writing.

Are you feeling a little bloated? Maybe carrying around more water than you think?

I don’t feel particularly bloated, except for what the extra food volume is doing to me. It’s very possible I’m holding water but I did not think that would be the case so early in the cycle, and my nipples aren’t sore/itchy so I have no other reason to believe my estrogen is high. But this is new territory for me so I am trying to figure out what is real and what is just in my head. Maybe I could start .25mg Adex EOD or E3D and see what happens?

not weird at all, I’ve specified previously how AAS can up regulate the sympathetic nervous system and induce cardiac autonomic dysfunction, even posted a study indicating the avg RHR of the AAS user was 84BPM vs 73 in controls.

Some are highly sensitive to this effect, whilst others are barely affected at all, over time, catecholamic overload and prolonged tachycardia may induce cardiac damage. Meds can be used to slow down HR if one is symptomatic… or simply one can lower dose

This makes me feel better. Glad it’s not just me.

Do all AAS have relatively similar effects on HR/BP in terms of magnitude? Not trying to get ahead of myself but my next cycle I would like to try adding EQ or Deca. I’m concerned about the blood volume effects of EQ for example.

Day 13. Up to 188 lbs, so 9 lbs so far. As mentioned before, it’s almost certainly food volume, glycogen, and water that has added to the scale. I doubt any more than 0.5lbs of lean tissue, if that, has been built in these first two weeks. Regardless, I do look bigger and a little fuller in the gym and my clothes are back to being very snug.

During my last push session on Sunday (two days ago) my bench press increased 10 lbs and did more reps, yet I was less sore yesterday. I have been using dumbbells until last week, so moving back to barbell is probably what made me pretty sore the first time, and the extra body weight is probably what contributed most to the increase in strength this time. I’m eager to see what happens when the real gains begin.

A question for those more experienced: how much water weight do you typically see gained and subsequently lost at the end of a cycle Test? I’m wondering how much more water I should expect to hold. Seems like quite a lot so far.

Did you gain 9lbs of glycogen in 600mg test?

I tend to eat at or slightly above maintenance on cycle or on TRT only, thus my BF% doesn’t budge and I still gain, albeit at a slower rate

I think I’ll try eat at a 500 calorie surplus for 2 wks and see what happens

Yes just the 600mg test. I suppose this is where some of the gain is coming from, apart from there just being more food inside me at any given time.

I’m glad you brought up your calories. I had opposing ideas; first, that I can eat more than I normally would in a mass phase and be more successful, or second, that I can eat fewer calories (approx. maintenance) and still gain more muscle than without AAS. My choice was to just do what I normally do - eat 300-500 over maintenance - and I am gaining quicker than I ordinarily would.

But it’s still so early… I have a hard time believing all my weight gain is due to test.

Day 15. RHR is now up to 86. Went to my psych today and my BP was 148/92. I immediately scheduled an appointment with my GP to get it checked out.

I have started taking 0.25mg Adex EOD and today was my third dose.

I dunno man… if it gets much worse you may want to bail or at least cut your dose a good bit. I know that’s not what you want to hear.

I wouldn’t take that much Adex either. FWIW start out light and only increase it as necessary. .5mg a week crashed me but I’m sensitive to it and found out the hard way.

Noted, thank you. Of course it’s not what I want to hear but it’s better than an MI, stroke, or worse. The whole point is to be healthier anyway. I will reduce my Adex dose as well.

My RHR is rather high too (69bpm) then again I’m on dexamphetamine (prescription) as I’m typing this (exam today)

Started on metoprolol succinate 50mg/day yesterday to bring down the HR. Since BBs aren’t that great at lowering BP I may ask my doc to switch me to a vasodilatory BB like nebivolol when I follow up next Friday. Or add an ACEi/ARB if it’s still very high. All depends on how I have responded in these next two weeks.
