Deadlift PR’s for days. If you keep going at this rate I can’t imagine that you’ll miss a 700lb pull next time you meet one.

Hopefully I’ll meet one sooner rather than later as well!!! I know I could pull it right now with straps. My grip strength just hasn’t increased as quickly as my pull has and now it’s time to play catch up.

I was short on time so I had to rush through this training session. I still got some pretty good work in though and I hit a log press PR. It did require a lot of leg drive though. I’m swapping to strict press for another training cycle so as not to learn to rely on leg drive so much.

Nice training session. 405 felt pretty heavy but the reps went smoothly. Next week I’ll do 3 1/2 boards, then 3 boards, etc… Hopefully I’ll do a triple with 405 to the chest in the next month or two.

Not a bad session but not a great one either. I was hoping to get 725x3 on block pulls but I just didn’t have the steam. I’ll stick with 725 as a single and gradually increase the ROM until I’m pulling 725 off of the floor. I am seriously sore from my calves all the way to the back of my head.
I hate rack/block pulls, or anything higher than like 3" off the ground. Nice PR btw!

Not a great training session but not bad (again). I haven’t done strict OHP in quite a while so I was a bit weak. I’ll get it back by the end of this training cycle but I’m going to focus on bench press and deadlift mainly.

I went with a wider stance, lower bar position and a much more hip dominant squat form today because I’ve been having so many problems with my knee. My knee didn’t hurt but the muscles in my left groin felt like they were tearing during my 455x4 set. After some heat and massage they improved drastically but I’m not going to be able to go heavy with this squat form for a while until my neglected groin muscles catch up. I’ll stay at 455lbs and just try to add volume until I’m able to do 455x5x5, then I’ll start increasing the weight.

This was a strange training session. During some sets I felt like superman but during some sets I’d run out of steam quickly and fail on the last rep or two. If I have a bad training session on Tuesday then I’ll deload for a week.

Thanks brother! It’s good to hear that because I am always worried that I’m being lazy.

Not bad! My kicking speed has really picked up. Punches could still use some work. Front round kick is finally hitting hard even when I focus on speed.
