Little Bitch Alert

I’m not the one who doesnt get it.

THINGS I SAID:
FIRST: I said that soccer lovers say how great soccer is because that anything can happen and one goal in 90+ minutes can win it.

SECOND: Does that pretty much sum it up?

THIRD: (you) No. being able to score just one goal in 90 minutes is what makes the sport so exciting.

Who’s the one not getting it?

Some examples :
(Not just for you, Greg)
Estonia v Faroe Islands. FI had ONE chance in the entire game and they scored. Estonia tried and tried…until the 90th minute.

And the opposite.
24 seconds into the game and Milan is leading already.

Or old Makaay’s goal against Real Madrid after 10 seconds.
(Bad quality)

I said it didn’t sum up the thread, then talked about how it went from AF fans side and emphasized about the 90 minutes and you laughed at it.
It’s the problem of answering with “LOL” instead of “This is what I meant” or stuff like that.

Did you watch South Africa’s World Cup?
Yeah I did. I watch quite a lot of soccer. Been to two English Premier league games and one international friendly match.

I like soccer. (good soccer)

To quote Prof X: “Its not like you’re talking to someone less educated than yourself” lol

Good. Which international friendly? I have the luck that Estonia plays all home games at Tallinn, so I can go watch all games.
I only got to watch two home games of Spain in my entire life, since they rotate cities.

I will say something else. I get annoyed when soccer is attacked by things that are not true. If you want to criticize soccer, do it for :

-Lack of technology to help in case of controversial situations where the referee is not sure.
-The economical difference between small and big clubs is becoming too big, which is making some leagues a bit too boring. The Scottish league has been an example for a long time, but Manchester United has won almost half of the Premier League (last 20 years) titles, Barcelona and Real Madrid utterly dominate in Spain, etc.
-Dictatorial and shady ruling by FIFA and the regional confederations (UEFA, CONCACAF, etc.)
-Poor quality refereeing in general. Referees are not full professional, which is ridiculous.
-Not enough sportmanship compared to some other sports.

EDIT : Mind that those are not exactly about the sport itself, but the “soccer world” itself.

Ed, you’d best settle down. First I see you posting in another thread about how icky guns are. Then I see you clutching this soccer ball thing like it was a teddy bear. You might need spend a little time over yonder, I’m thinkin’: http://tnation.T-Nation.com/free_online_forum/sports_training_performance_bodybuilding_trt?pageNo=1&s=forumsNavTop

Now reach down 'tween your legs and pull what must be a simply adorable lil pecker outta your pants, stroke him with some warm Crisco for awhile til he stands up all proud and mighty…and then have an eye to eye talk with the lil feller. Ask him if he’s gittin enough support from the twin soccer balls beneath him…
So standing for what I believe and defending my ideals require some doses of Testosterone?

Maybe I should cry and call people names like you did when you got offended because I said that I was not interested in older girls than me…
Remember?

I think he meant, “Usted dos era lento como tortugas,” but I aint sure how that meshes with this discussion.
Ustedes (plural) dos eran (plural) lentos (plural) como tortugas (plural).
