Liquid Accutane

L-Iso Isotretinoin by AG-Guys. Has anyone ever tried this? I know about the side effects involved the depression etc. etc. etc. But is it as effective as the capsules they originally came in by Roche? I ask because I have some major scne on mu back, shoulders, chest, arms and face. I’ve had acne ever since a teenager, but each time I finish off a cycle it takes about 3 to 4 months until I really break out bad.

Its really hard to get the pills by prescription because its been negatively portrayed as a suicidal killer when your taking Accutane. So to save trouble I want to get the liquid form. it comes in a 50mg/ml and that is pretty strong.

Any help from anyone whose used this befor is greatly appreciated.Of course I will be testing this ancillary on my lab rats only. Thanks

hey man,
i was on roaccutane, which is an acne drug from roche, same thing your talkin about im pretty sure. Let me just say that, that drug is the best fuckin thing ever created for acne sufferers. i had the most severe acne ever and i got some pretty gnarly scars too prove it (not your average pock marks). The talk that it makes you depressed is bullshit, if you look at all the cases the sensationalist news reports come up with, the people have histories of depression and are either on anti-depressants or have been on them.

If your acne is bad enough and you can find a quality specialist you should have no worries getting hold of some. One thing though, im not takin roids so i dont know how this effects the roaccutane, might have to ask the specialist that one, i never read anything about it though.

Hope this helped you.

Thanks bro. What strength were you taking? How long were you taking it? When di you start and end it? Do you still get acne or is it pretty much gone for good.
Thanks again.

i was on one pill a day (20 mg) for a year and a half. had to be on it for that long because of possible flare ups and so i still got enough into my system, with roaccutane (rctne) its more about how much you get in your system then how long your on it. However ive had a mate that took four a day against doctors orders, probably wouldnt do that, his skin got very dry, dryer then wat its meant to go, and he seemed to bleed easy cos of it. my other two mates took 2 a day.

i started taking it about 2 1/2 years ago and i was on it for a year and a half, i kept taking it to avoid a reoccurance. my friends were on it for between 6 months and a year.

Acne’s gone for a good except the odd little pimple on my face. rarely get em on my chest or back, i dont think ive had one on my back since stopping.

worst side effects i had wear dry skin and that was it. one mate got heacaches, but i rekon thats cos he didnt drink enough water so make sure u stay hydrated. another mate got sore joints after sport, but it was all good by the morning.

Im not sure if it would suitable if you only wanted to take it after your cycle, but if u were willing to take it throughout the cycle it would proabably prevent it from breaking out. i was on it cos my raging teenage hormones caused it, the hormones have since calmed. You want it because your increasing your test levels with roids, im not sure how this would effect dosage lenght of time etc.

I also took it about 8-9 years ago. I used to get regular acne on my face but rarely if ever would get any on my back or shoulders…All of a sudden that changed and I was getting huge, painful zits on my back. I was in my later 20’s and thought my acne days were gone. I don’t remember my dosage but I took it for about 6 months. Worked great, I still get the odd small one here and there and I am 37 y/o but nothing like before.

My joints were a little sore and my liver enzymes were elevated but that was about it in the way of side effects.

I think it is the only effective drug for treating acne.

This is, of course, factualy false. Just because one person DIDN’T find problems with the drug, doesn’t mean it doesn’t have serious complications one should be prepared for.

i agree with you, one person doesnt count for anything. I probably should have included in my post that when i asked the doc about the depression/suicide issue, he told me that nothings ever certain, but on all tests done with the drug in regards to it causing depression, none of them proved that it did or could.

However you will still find warnings in the roaccutane pamphlet in regards to depression. since there is no tests to back up the depression/suicide theory i think this is just a cautionary reaction by roche.

Accutane is not a drug to be taken lightly. I was on it about ten years ago for completely horrible acne. It cleared up perfectly, and now I may get one pimple a year.

However, I had to take in water constantly, my nose and lips would bleed, blood work every two weeks for the duration of the treatment, and I couldn’t fight in martial arts tournaments. Someone could bump into my nose and it would start bleeding. Would I do it again, fuck yes. But take it from me, don’t treat it lightly.

it is serious stuff it can mess your liver enzymes up so you need to get regular blood work

I’m 31 and still getting acne like a frickin teenager. I’ve been thinking about giving this a try to get trid of it but I need to do some more research first before I decide. For those who have tried the liquid research fomula on your rats, how much did they need per day?

Thanks guys! So the liquid form is just as effective as the pill form I’m assuming. It is the same active ingredients but its more like a generic version which would cost ALOT less than the prescription ones.
Thanks again!

Aside from being highly liver toxic (you think steroids are bad?), it will often screw up your joints permanently.

Check out acne.org and try the regimen before you hop on to accutane.

I’ve never even heard of this side effect. Even if it is possible, the word “often” is likely a considerable exaggeration in regards to how many suffer joint problems from accutane.

I have a permanently damaged liver because of one month on accutane. My cholesterol also went from amazing to shitty and I developed temporary tachacardia. Oh, and my not terrible breakouts turned into the worst acne I’ve ever had.

I stop stressing about breakouts and its either a mind thing or my hormones happened to change but my skin is clear.

i second this, never heard of it, joint soreness for the duration of the dose, yes, but permanent damage, no. Also, messing with your liver worse then steroids, i highly doubt it, and have never heard of it happening. It does effect the liver however, but a person of relative good health should have no worries, a person on steroids, i dunno. Might complicate things a bit, probably depend on how well your liver functions already.

Exactly. Soreness from dehydration I could see. But permanent damange? Not buying it.

I have taken 3 complete cyles of accutane (6 months each) starting when I was 20 and then again when i was 22 and then again at 25.

Each time it would totally clear up my acne (the first was the most important because I had it BAD) but then it started to come back (not nearly as bad) after a couple/few years.

If you have acne bad enough to be considering this…I urge you to do it! It will be the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself.

Depression as a side effect? Ummm I was pretty freakin depressed when I didn’t want to go out in public because of my acne. Having it gone was NOT depressing =)

I did experience severe chapped lips and some bloody noses from being dried out but that’s it.

Oddly enough, I just started getting some breakouts but I think it was due to the Alpha Male messing with my hormones so I stopped taking it for a week and my skin cleared right up.

go to a dermatologist i had brutal cistic acne 20 yrs ago i took acutane when it was still experimental, cured my ass quick,my back and chest are scared it looks like someone took a hot car lighter to my ass.that stuff was a god send.

I would advise against getting this stuff anywhere buy your doctor.

I have been on for just a month now, and it’s nasty stuff. They have me on the max dose (80mgs/day) due to my size, and there is no doubt that it’s effected me. Have had some insomnia, shitty mood, lack of appetite. I’m due for my second blood test in 4 days, so it will be interesting to see how much everything has changed. It has started to dry me up, but not drastic changes yet.

Monopoly

I was running 60mgs/day at 15 years old. It is serious stuff. But I would reccomend it to anyone. Since then, over ten years ago, I will only get an occasional pimple.

I would probably get it from a dermotologist rather than a research chemical, because they are professionals at dealing with skin.

While on, I had bloodwork every two weeks, and checkups every month. I ran the accutane for six months if I remember right. I had no depression, or side effects other than dry skin, bloody noses, constantly needing water and chapped lips. It was totally worth it for the results. For me, it cleared up the majority of the scarring as well.

Personally, I would say that this drug, over anything else, helped me to become a normal teenager, with a prom date, chicks to take to the movies, etc… And it goes without saying but, I have no reason to endorse them, just relating my personal experience.
