hahahaha… Jim Rome is going to have a FIELD DAY with this. It could end up on his “happiest days in his life” list. He’s been talking about it for a couple weeks.
Jim Rome is one of the biggest tools on television. He is an embarassment to sports commentary. There is a reason he’s on at 4 or whatever, when no one is home. He’s got to be under contract and that is the only way ESPN can prevent him from polluting their network any further.
Whomever is forcing you to watch that fool should be punished.
Ummm…Romes also does a three hour radio program every weekday if you aren’t aware. And while he is a royal douche, he does get damn good interviews. As much as I dislike his attitude/demeanor at times, he has done alot to change the face of sports talk radio.
He sucks. He makes up facts, just so he can criticize them, on a regular basis. That’s what I dislike most about him. Not even his douchy behavior, it’s his affinity for creating drama solely for the sake of perpetuating it.
Like what? I’m not saying you’re wrong, I’m just genuinely curious what facts you feel he “makes up”?
Clearly he has someone write most of the show for him (like Letterman or Leno, etc) but I’m not sure exactly what you are saying…

Theres no way I can think of a specific topic off of the top of my head. It’s not really a big deal
And yes you are right that he has writers. He still has control over what comes out of his mouth though.
I’m trying to say that he often takes a small, insignificant point of a broader story and then picks on that by making exaggerated claims. He does that so he can make it sound like he has some novel opinion that no one else is capable of coming up with. Many times he is stating the obvious then completely blows it out of proportion and misses the point of the topic he is trying to criticize.
He just sucks lol. Don’t get me started on his filthy looking mustache… haha
