I guess. ~20lbs a year sounds about right for most Elite lifters I’ve heard from.
it’s not 200lb though cos this is 800 x 3 not 800 x 1.

anyone know what his raw 1RM is? I would guess it would be around 850 or so?

also, how old is he now? 23?
Best meet squat is (I think) 827 w/wraps. He’s either 21 or 22, not sure.

He has said he’s hoping to hit around 850 at his meet in the next few weeks

As an advocate of deep squats, I can say I am very impressed.

That is some ridiculous weight he is moving there.

He’s talking on the way up on the second one, not even holding his air. Thats retarded.
Is that really the first thing you think of when watching him squat?
I think it was a compliment, he was saying its retarded, that someone could not even hold their breathe and still make it look that easy. Its just crazy stupid to be able to do that. At least thats what i got from it
Yea bro, was saying that in awe, he just muscles it up still being able to talk. the abdo strength that would require is insane.
Ahhh ok. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

LOL

Up to 745 the bar was literally propelled off his back as he was coming out of the hole to rack it. How has someone not tried to get this kid on their line? That was insanely impressive.

This is melting my fucking brain.

I want to train with Eric.

What in the actual hell

Oh My God… I just read the first page of his training log…

“Speed Pulls”

135 x 10 (stiff legged, slow and controlled reps)
225 x 10 (stiff legged, slow and controlled reps)
315 x 4
405 x 3
505 x 2
605 x 1 (belt)
655 x 1 (belt)
705 x 1 (belt)

fml. Speed Pulls with 705…

(!@#*)@!#(!@(#!@

Man he made that look easy! Spectacular lifting.

Could you imagine getting hit by that dude? He could literally leave a hole where the numbers used to be in a running back’s jersey.

is it my imagination or is he squatting high bar? Insane either way.

It is not your imagination. I was reading through the comments and he said that he changed up his stance and bar position. Now he squats high-bar and close-stance.

CS

thats just insane, look how upright he is:)
