HI people
i am amazed at the wrestlers in the WWE(wwf).
im 6 feet 4 so these bodies in the wwe are my goal because these guys such as ROCK and HHH are 6 feet 4 and over .i dont like bodybuilding mags as most of the guys in there are not even close to my height .does any know the weight traing programs these wwe guys use as i can never seem to much info on them.

Are you expecting to hear something magically different than basic weight training? Hint: steroids, great genes, steroids, strong athletic backgrounds, and steriods. Just because you train like HHH does not mean you’ll look like him. You guys must be very young.
I’ve read about the workouts of the Rock, HHH and Goldberg in various BB mags. Nothing special or interesting.
I’d be interested to know how much some of these guys lift. I bet Big Show and Kane can move some major weight.
Karl had it right - I’m mostly curious as to how much these guys lift, although I’ve also wondered if taller guys should do anything different than those of an average height.
Tek, I'm *shocked* you'd imply incredibly muscled athletes in an organization of such integrity are using steroids! The shock! The horror!
You guys should read TC’s “Why Lurch Won’t Grow” article, which has some tips for taller guys. Also, Caoch Staley had something similar as well a little while back, although I don’t recall the name of the article off the top of my head.
As for max lifts, I think you’d be disappointed. Those guys are tall, which means that they have poor leverage for how large they are. I’m sure they’re all decently strong, much stronger than your average gym rat, but I’d be willing to bet that none of them benches all that much more than their bodyweight.
You’re probably right about max lifts, but I’d be really interested in the Big Show’s numbers. Anyone ever see them?
I agree with what one or two guys have said here - Guys like The Rock, and other Wrestlers have great genes and yes ( oh the horror!), many if not all use or have used steroids at one time or another. If You are 6'4 and u wanna get big, get a good workout program, and EAT. The obvious being said, here's a little info i got my hands on for your interest. The Rock eats 2 meals in the morning with about 30 grams of carbs and 45 grams of protein; 2 meals with fibrous carbs (vegetables) and same amount of protein; and two last meals with proten and no carbs - This will keep u pretty lean. He's said to use ZMA, which is a zinc/magnesium which increases ur testoterone. Here's a few exercises the guy does and how much he lifts. alternating dumbell curl- 4 reps with up to 70 lbs; wide grip cable pull-down- 4 reps with up to 240lbs; hammer shrugs- 4 reps with up to 450 lbs; flat bench dumbell press- 4 reps with up to 120 lbs. R u the Rock though? If u aren't, then chances are u'll need to do something different to get results ( I highly doubt u can curl 70 lbs WITH good form). Would I try what he does? U bet ur ass I wouldnt. I's all about finding what works for u. If u havent noticed already, diferent people will tell u different things, because different people have different genes. some are tall, some have faster metabolism, some have lower or higher tendon insertion points which allows them to lift more or less weight than someone else; some have a lot of fast twitch muscle fibers whih allows them to get huge an lif heavy, and others have mostly slow witch muscle fibers which gives them endurance, but makes it very hard for them to put on any considerable size - take the guy who taught me everything i know at the gym. He knows a lot and he'l teach you how to get huge, but he has a hard time putting on size himself because he's mostly slow twicth. Just becuse ur as tall as the rock doesnt mean U have the genes he has to grow like him. Then again no one said u didnt. Just dont hurt urself ging ridiculously heavy just because HE can.
Cool, thanks for the info. THe Rock blows all of my numbers away, except I do dumbbell curls at 65 pounds for 5 with good form. I feel special now.
If I could only dumbbell press 120lbs now..

Rock is a big SOB, but 120x4 for the flat bench press is not that much. I’m 164(5’7) and have benched the 105’s for 4 times and believe me I’m no powerlifter.
For you guys interested in what kind of weights these guys push around I have a small story for you: Friend of mine was at Gold’s last year when they were doing a live RAW here (Lexington, Ky). He saw Kane, among some of the other wrestlers, there (he recognized him from being the former “fake” Diesel) and saw him doing something around 400 lbs. on barbell military shoulder presses. I thought that was pretty insane, as many people can’t even do 400 lbs. on a bench press. I’m not touting this as 100% fact, but the guy who told me is honest and I don’t see that he’d have a reason to lie about it. He didn’t even tell it like it was amazing, just rather matter-of-factly. Take it for what you will.
P.S. Kind of sad that there’s still people who actually believe that these “athletes” would never do steroids…yeah…and the storylines are real too…
I used to work at a gym in Minnesota and that stupid traveling circus came to town and the rock came to work out at our gym. What a retard, he had no clue to what he was doing. Way too much body english very limited ROM because he was trying to impress people by moving way too much weight. All he is is a steroid junkie with good genetics. Why would you want to look like a bloated circus performer anyway? No offence intended.
