Well, 6 weeks out sounds like a reasonable time to start training for the Tough Mudder, right? I should be able to survive it if I just slowly add time to my running/conditioning up until game day. I survived a half marathon with my wife before, running a handful of times prior, so I ain’t really worried about it. Just want to avoid injury so I can still do the NASA meet Nov 3rd.
Did the Tough Mudder “Mudderling” (read:out of shape) circuit and it of course, thrashed me for about 30 minutes. Gotta start somewhere…
Hit a new indoor rock gym today, and worked that shit for 2 hours. Haven’t been in forever, which I need to not let happen again. It’s fun, as hell and I’m not horrible at it. Smoked my ass, hard. Came home and took a nap. I never take naps, but had to today.
Might finish my deload with the OHP work I need to do later, might say fuck it and just start my next cycle of 531 with squats tomorrow. We’ll see.
