Believe it or not you can actually use the SSB for JM Presses. I think Harry Selkow has a video on EFS where he shows you how to do it. It looks silly, but apparently works well.

Nova, I don’t want my wife to think I’m not grateful for her purchase. Of course I’m going to use the shit out of it! I also really think it’s going to bring my squat up a lot (I hope, at least). Quads don’t usually get worked when I squat, but they hurt so good after SSB squats and my erectors are getting a lot stronger too, which should keep me upright more easily.

I’m doing the run with my wife and her friend, and I figure it’ll be fun and a good way to get my feet wet with an obstacle course run since I’m doing a Tough Mudder in October. I should probably start training for it…but meh…how hard can it be?

Not ideal when prepping for a meet, but there’s no way I’m messing up her bday this year.
