Missed most of the UFC matches last night due to “getting” to see who won
America’s Got Talent. Did see the last round with Sanchez/Parisyan…whew!
Will that be rebroadcast?

Yes, it will be on Saturday evening, I believe at 8 p.m. eastern time but you might want to double check the start time.
I think Sanchez was impressive but wouldnt be suprised if the fight doesnt go a full 3 rounds when he goes up against Hughes or GSP. I think he has a bright future if he can improve his skills/striking power and keep his drive and conditioning.
Also does anyone else think Lidell/ortiz isnt going to be much of a fight? When Griffen recovered from the ground and pound he had ortiz very frustrated.

Tito didn’t look like Tito in the fight. Whether it was ring rust or the knee injury (plus Forrest was generally underrated), I think that wasn’t telling of what Tito is capable of. I think Liddel will beat him in a rematch, but I don’t think he will KO Tito in dramatic fashion again and it will go the distance.

Unfortunately, we have to watch Shamrock get rocked one last time. He’s fighting Ortiz on the 10/10 Spike TV special. At least it’s on free TV and Shamrock has announced that he’s retiring after the match.
My MMA instructor (Brad Gumm) fought Shonie Carter several years ago in the UFC. He said Shonie is a real nice guy and that he acts very differently when the cameras are on just to get attention.

He announced he was retiring before, and that didn’t stop him from returning to the ring for some more beatings.
This is true, I’ve trained in the same gym as Shonie and he is a really nice guy.
Hard to believe that Shamrock will retire after Tito beats him down for the third time. I think as soon as someone offers him more than minimum wage to fight…he’ll fight again.
I don’t have much respect for shamrock. If you have followed his entire career you see things that demonstrate his utter nuttiness and lack of character.
