Levels Dropped 200 Points In Two Years

I was tested in 12/19 by my primary and it was 578.
Since that time I had two shoulder replacements and have lost energy and muscle mass. I decided to finally pull the trigger and get tested by a TRT Dr in the area. I got the results today and my level is 368, with my free T at 11. I have my apt with the Dr. in a couple weeks, but my question is: Why would my levels drop 200 points in two years. Could it be from the surgeries? 1st shoulder was 5/20, second was 11/20. Just trying to get ideas as to why it would drop so much. 5 years before that it was 619.
I am not and have not been on T.

Lots of stuff can make you test levels drop in one day. Drink a lot the night before, not sleep well, not eat much, when you take the test in the day (morning will be higher than evening)…

I agree. Retake lab to confirm… Like this you start trt with confidence

Testosterone levels fluctuate every day, some days it’s higher and other days lower. Your SHBG can also fluctuate changing the balance between Total T and Free T.

Your testosterone does decline with age, disease and surgeries can cause it to decline more quickly.
