i had ART done on my right shoulder today. I’m feeling pretty good.
Another art session today. Holy crap this one hurt so good.
Today went well.
Deadlift- 7x425
Step ups- New exercise so stayed light. Did 2 sets of 8 per leg with 135. Box setup a little above knees.
Back raise- 3x12x45 mini bands
Spread-eagle sit ups- 3x12xholy fuck these are harder than I thought they’d be.
So I think I finally got one of my friends really into lifting. His baseball coach said he needed to be stronger and weigh more so until spring he wants to train with me. Most people I’ve trained with go for a couple weeks and either stop or just bench all the time lol. But I put him on the same program as me, he liked the concept behind it. 5/3/1 is definitely a good program for beginners as long as you really work on getting form down. He pulled 155 for 12 reps (with decent,safe form) his first time deadlifting. Now this obviously isn’t earth shattering, but I personally love watching people work hard and he was definitely giving his all.

Dead-lift- Worked up to 8x405 with A LOT LEFT IN THE TANK. Probably could’ve gotten 10-11 but I wanted to sprint today so I left it at that.
SSB Lunges- 2x8x145.
Back raises- 3x12x45lbs plate+ mini band. I really liked the addition of the band to this exercise. Really felt it in the posterior chain at the top.
Ab wheel- 3x12xbw
Prowler sprint- First time in awhile and me and my friend fucking went at it(not like that). Was going to do like 8 sprints with a 45 lbs plate per pole but ended up doing 16. My friend has an odd obsession with Taylor Swift, and for whatever reason the gym had a fucking t-swift marathon. Every sprint was “for Taylor” and he would not stop until they stopped playing her songs. Being me I wasn’t going to let him do more than me. Pretty awesome to have a training partner that busts his ass. Not the strongest or most athletic kid in the world, but he’s definitely gonna be there soon.
