I have everything in my cycle but the arimidex. I’ve had a deal of pain finding arimidex. My friend offered me Letrozole (Femara) and says it’s better.
Should I get it or wait til i can find adex locally or online? (i’ve been waiting about two weeks to start my cycle, very very paitently).
a search on here or google didn’t really answer my question either
Most prefer adex because it’s effects are self-limiting. Letrozole works fine as long as you closely monitor your dose and response, as the dose-response curve for letro is allegedly quite unpredictable.
For what it’s worth, I have used letrozole at 0.5mg EOD and occasionally 0.5mg ED and haven’t had any problems. However I will be ordering adex when my letro runs out for the reason I gave above.
Plenty of research sites sell adex, there’s no reason not to order it and wait a little longer.
I have use letro once in the past. I had it on hand and was out of adex. Unless gyno is already an issue I think that in 99% of the cases letro is overkill. I had the worst joint pain of my life trying to use letro throughout a cycle. Estrogen levels get dropped too low and I am also assuming that it would absolutely kill your lipid profile. IMHO I would wait for the adex.
Letro has been shown to be effective at 100mcg, so if you get a liquid - it lasts a real fucking long time. It isnt 98% suppressive of estrogen at that dose… only at doses of 1mg+
0.25mg EOD is a good dose. I am sensitive to E and would use 1mg of adex EOD to ED if i used it on a decent cycle. So letro proves very cost effective - it is very very hard IMO to get estro levels to damaging levels on a Test cycle. For me at least!
thats the dose i was gonna use.
I guess i could use the letro and order adex online if i’m dissatisfied. I’m just really wanting to start this cycle tabarnak.

In which case, you could use letro for the cycle proper, and then use adex during the taper, as tapering with letro is awkward.

If you are doing a taper, that is.

Just out of interest dave… what do you find awkward about it?

It’s like you said earlier, letro is effective at 100mcg, and when gradually tapering (a must!!) it becomes very hard to measure with standard droppers.
Also the whole dose-response thing is a pain. I don’t know that 50mcg has much less effect on my E than 100mcg, for instance. I just don’t like the risk of any estrogen rebound whatsoever, as I already have a miniscule lump of gyno in my left tit.
Personally after I am done tapering with letro I feel like I haven’t been tapered off low enough - which is when I would introduce the adex
Oh i see… i (as most AAS users) also have a couple small lumps, but i find letro very good, and the only way i taper from 0.25mg ED is to go EOD or E3D… that works well for me - i have never had any rebound issues so far.
Saying that - i am still using up a source of the stuff that is likely underdosed, so we’ll see when i go onto the ‘good stuff’!
they are far easier to dose, and have less potential sides.
letro is great, but IMO it should only be used to combat existing and/or developing gyno… or be used by folks who know they need it in their cycles as a preventative measure based on their sensitivity to certain compounds, or their gyno history.

Nice little thread Hussayn. Good luck on the cycle once you get it going. It looks like a solid 1st cycle.
JJ, Dave, and JD, good sound advice and info, made this into a very cool thread guys. I have thought frequently of using letro as JJ does, since I’m estro sensitive and the bottle would last so damn long. Just always knew I would probably do the adex taper after a letro taper though. But it’s cool that it works for JJ by just tapering out the frequency.
The article sounds pretty convincing, but i’m doubtful of that website, they sell candy labeled as steroids…[/quote]
I use 3-4 different sites to research profiles, as you get a full picture. And steroid.com is one of them - who cares what they sell? I aint buying it!!

Thank you.
I’ve found my source for adex but will hold off my cycle until the end of september. Complications have risen…
