They seem high, but the squats themselves were very high.
Yeah, saw them, they look pretty good to me. I think box squat generally are a bit high.
Also glad to see I am not the only one who has problems with imbedding insta videos.

Less frequency seems to be working still. 75kg BP felt OK. Got 40kg x 10 on Bnp, only 8 last time. Mum popped round and was chatting in the only room with a door frame I can hang the pull up bar on, so cut Chinups short. (hate them anyway)
Got 20 Dips for first time in ages.
Happy.

Out of curiosityā¦so you are a fairly big dude, yeah? Your squat is good, your DL is good, your OHPs are good. 20 dips is good, and I know you can do them weight as well. You are strong, is what I am saying. So, caveats out of the way.
Your bench lags behind the other lifts a bit. By design? You hate them? You donāt care?
Genuinely curious, donāt mean it as an insult at all (I donāt even consider bench a great indicator of strength anyway).
For what itās worth, I donāt think his bench is significantly behind his OHP. Iād say the ratios are pretty similar to my own.
I was more thinking of in absolute terms. Because he can dip quite well and he is not a small guy, so I know he has more actual titty strength than what his bench shows.
Or maybe I have my humans mixed up again, and he is a shorty like me. But still.
Getting double posts on my feed at the moment.
@Cyrrex I think I am very weak at pressing(post withdrawn by author, I blame it on long arms. Iāve never really benched outside of 531 rep scheme, and didnāt do pr sets much, so with the 5x5 setup Iāve started light. I could probably get 100kg for a single, or at a push A double, but Iām trying not to max out on anything for a bit. As Iāve said earlier, less seems to will be giving better progress <
Fuck sakes, just read my deleted post!
Haha, I cannot read a deleted post. Except for the deleted post that I just read. Must be a new forum feature.
But okay, you can push a hundo for a single or a double, then that makes more sense.
Iāve always found flat bench more of a Triceps exercise, I donāt really feel any chest involvement. I got a coaching session and think Iām doing it right, itās just my leverages I guess.
I donāt disagree. I donāt really like the flat bench, which is why I rarely ever do it.
The caveat being dumbbells. Changes everything, in my opinion.
As soon as my gym reopens Iām going to swap main pressing lifts to dbs for a few weeks to change things up a bit.
