I wouldn’t want to take up the only bench at the gym for so long, it’s nice at home, being able to take time and work back down.

I pulled something in my shoulder/neck region last week, was ignoring it hoping it would go away but its not.
Going to have a few days off lifting to see if it clears up. Don’t think doing loads of pressing on Saturday helped.

Saw an osteopath last night. I’ve pinched a nerve in my neck which was causing the pain in my shoulders. He did some manipulation and dug around and it feels much better. He advised to leave it 48hs before any exercise.
Interestingly, he has treated Dorian Yates in the past!

Were you getting numb hands and pins and needles at night ? I have a collapsed disc in my neck and some calcification between the vertebrae which causes me to get pinched nerve from time to time. I always know it’s not right when my arms go numb at night !

No noticeable numbness, but I do seem a bit more clumsy and have been dropping stuff later in the day. He said it was a pinched nerve bundle between c6 and c7.
The pain had started to move into my right pec as well, was weird when he found the spot, he was poking in my neck and I was getting pain in my chest.
Seems much improved already, have another appt next week, but can cancel if not required.
