Pleased with the pull ups today got 2 more sets of 5 than last time with 10kg.
And you should be: Thatās some nice work! Well done.
Poorly knee update: hurts standing , walking, going up or down stairs and driving so other than calf raises still havent attempted to train legs.
May try a few sets of light leg press and see of the pain gets wosre after.
read and acknowledged. not hitting like.
In general, and 100% not advice specific to your knee issue -I highly recommend checking out the kneesovertoes guyās stuff.
#1 ātipā (or āeasiestā exercise for bad knees) is walking backwards, pulling a sled or something similar to add resistance.
Just saw a Lee Boyce clip where he advocates backwards incline treadmill walking for knee health, will give it a try.
I also need a new van, when mine was off the road for a month i borrowed a couple that had cruise control. Being able to move my leg around off the accelerator was amazing for my knee on long journeys. (i typically drive 30,000 - 40,000 miles a year, most my journeys are long.)
Iām a fan. Just tried the backwards walking the other day as a warm up for squats. Helped reduce the pain a lot. Iām going to keep it up.
