260lbs with 12% BF? You look comparable to Ronnie Coleman. I have my opinion, but I’ll ask anyway. Are you natural?
why does it matter honestly-but honestly you can probably figure out that question for yourself, he was a competetive bodybuilder so what do you think?-
I just think its discouraging and misleading that most of the writer’s who write for T-Nation say so and so does not need steroids if he follows my program. Then you go and find that the article they wrote has pictures of obvious steroid users. Ronnie Coleman being the basis for the bulk of the examples as well as Lee Priest and whatnot. Dumb question on my part, but I guess I just wanted to ask for some reason. Maybe he was just a fat power lifter and leaned out completely, not likely, but possible.
Fat Power Lifter? You truly are a punk ass bitch. First off not all powerlifters are fat and second, most power lifters would whip your scrawny ass!..case in point…WTF is up with the powerlifter haters? Whats a matter? mommy didnt feed you enough as a kid?
Point in case, FAT power lifter. I did not say all power lifters were fat, in my eyes bodybuilder or powerlifter he could not of stayed lean and gained that much mass. Next time don’t be up to jump on someone’s ass because you got an anger issue and want to beat someone up over the internet for asking questions.
CrewPierce wrote:
Last I checked many of the pro powerlifters and especially for the heavy weights, they (like the BB’s) aren’t natural.
Just a response to the “fat powerlifter” comment.
Yes I know that, but I was throwing it out there for the possibility that he is natural. As a disclaimer, I am not saying anything bad about steroids or that he shouldn’t of, I was just stating that you cannot get that big without using them, (I haven’t seen a natural that big), and the image of being that big is being pushed in my eyes.
To the OP, yes awesome build, 9.5 if I could, so I gave a 10.

Get off your high horse…beat someone up? Its just obvious that you and others like you seem to think that powerlifters shouldnt get any respect, and i was merely defending us “fat powerlifters” as you would say…grow the fuck up and show some respect brother.
And btw Meast i gave you a ten…no need to give you advice.
Actually I played safety for a major college football team and also the Canadian football league before I got into bodybuilding. I was 215lbs before I started training for bodybuilding and got up to 240lbs before using anything as far as supplements are concerned. I usually only used small dosages for short 6 week cycles, just enough to get the desired effect.
I believe you should build a foundation before supplementation and only enough to help and assist, not do the work for you. In the past my weight would go up maybe 8-10lbs at the most. I’m 36 yrs old now and want to exceed what I was able to back in 2002, so I will be using a more advanced protocol. I have never powerlifted and have no idea what my max lifts are. I train for quality and don’t care how much weight I use, only staying healthy so I can continue to train.

No, that isn’t obvious, I don’t think he indicated that at all.

I did, you were referring to thewannabe for saying that comment about fat powerlifters. I still don’t think he was implying that powerlifters deserve no respect whatsoever, as you put it.
I really, REALLY wish that it would be considered bad etiquette to ask somebody with a physique like that if he is on steroids in a public discussion/forum.
The funny thing is that only SMALL guys seem to ask that kind of question, at least in my experience here and elsewhere.
Not only is the OP a former state champion, he won FUCKING TEXAS!!! It’s the biggest state, isn’t it? Or at least second behind California? Is it too hard to show a little respect anymore?
Yes, I am aware that I’m overreacting. Thank you.

No worries PF 88, You seem like a reasonable man. Just dont like the implication people will slip in and possibly make the reference.

Really, you checked “Pro” powerlifters? Can you tell me what meet I have to compete in to get my pro card for powerlifting?
And to the OP, Fucking 10!

I can understand that, to me, powerlifters are crazy with strength, I’ve gone back and forth over who I respect more, power lifters or olympic lifters.
oh and to the OP, awesome physique, so many people would be green with envy with how you look, good job.

Looking great MEAST…I just turned 36 and am just starting to lift. I know I will never get to be your size but I sure as hell am going to try.
For everybody else. Give the whole argument a rest about juicing or not juicing. I swear there is always someone asking that question when someone who is big posts a pic.
I am not going to take steroids but I won’t use that as an excuse as to why someone is bigger than me, it is nothing more than an excuse. We all know excuses are like assholes-everybody has one.
As for the “fat” powerlifters vs. “meathead” bodybuilders…that whole debate should be dead by now. I have read here alot about powerlifters turning to BB and bodybuilders turning to powerlifting, I think we all share the love of the workout and the burn and the pain and the lifestyle; no matter which one it is. “Can’t we all just get along?” okay old joke-sorry.
OP-you get a 10 please post more pics in the future.

Comments aside, I got no beef with powerlifters. I know their BF % varies a lot from person to person, I was just trying to say that his tactic might of been to eat a lot, get fat, then burn it off and keep the left over muscle. I don’t hate powerlifters, bodybuilders, steroid users at all, I was just using him as an example.

You’re right about etiquette, I should of kept my trap shut. But he does have an overall great build!
I really don’t think your a 10 with your CURRENT physique. Yes in 2002 you would be a ten you were much more cut up. Right now you look kind of soft, looks like you still have some of your size but your definition is lacking.
If you don’t mind can you post your program and sample diet? It’s always interesting to see how some of the pros train.

uhhh, in comparison to 2002 yes he’s softer now, but nevertheless even now he still looks pretty rock solid.
YOU KNOW, I’M AMAZED AT HOW SOME OF YOU COME ON HERE AND CRITICIZE ME ARE ANYONEELSE FOR THAT MATTER. FIRST OF ALL, THE PICS WHERE I’M “SOFT” ARE IN THE OFFSEASON BACK IN 2002. I DIDN’E POST ANY CURRENT PICS BECAUSE I DON’T HAVE ANY. LET’S SEE, I LOOK “SOFT” IN THOSE PICS AT 270LBS WITH 8%BODYFAT IN THE OFFSEASON, WITH VISIBLE ABS, VASCULARITY, DEFINITION AND SEPARATION THROUGHOUT!I WON THE TEXAS STATE SUPERHEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP AFTER WINNING MY VERY FIRST CONTEST A WEEK EARLIER!
I WAS BEGGED BY THE CHAIRMAN OF THE TX. NPC TO DO THE STATE SHOW THE NEXT WEEK! SO I THINK UNLESS YOU HAVE A BETTER PHYSIQUE THAN ME, YOU SHOULD PROBABLY KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! I DON’T MIND CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM AS LONG AS IT COMES FROM SOMEONE QUALIFIED TO DO SO. I ESTMATE ONLY ABOUT 1% OF THE PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM ARE QUALIFIED!
uh oh, he’s mad, shit I’d be scared…shizen why did you have to call him soft??
