The data I have seen indicates you are full of shit. Please post a link to something that supports you position about stoners and auto accidents. No personal stories…‘if your a hammer everything looks like a nail.’
From Scientific American 2/9/12
US News story about a Canadian Study
From a 2008 article in a British Columbia newspaper that driving while stoned is on the rise.
Now that I’ve backed up my statement, it’s time to log off and go do the best damn job in the world!!
Pittski owned yet again.
OK Zeb you own me even though I said I would never drive or would I condone it . I will say because of the people I know and my self ,the absence of loss of coordination would make me rather some one smoke and drive as (OPPOSED to drink and drive

Glad you don’t drive stoned Pitt. Now tell me can you speak for all the other pot heads out there? And the future tokers of America?
No you can’t.
Legalize pot and you’ve introduced more pain in many forms into our society.

Well tell me we spend all this money on the War on drugs , Please tell me what are we getting for the money , please be specific.
We know by your admission that we do not get streets that are free from drug users .
Pot is in my opinion a small concern . Larger concerns go to Alcohol and harder drugs , I would even think over the counter cold and sleeping medication more dangerous than pot . Of course that is just my opinion

This was in no way directed at Pitt at all, he has been nothing but respectful in my conversations with him on these boards. This is for BlueCollar saying I’m full of shit and had nothing but personal stories to back up my thoughts.

So maybe BlueCollar can drop the strawman now.
I wonder if the illegality actually causes less people to use. That would make an intersting debate in itself. There are people who stay away from drugs because they are illegal. There are people who stay away from drugs because they are unsure of street quality. There are people who stay away from drugs because they are morally against being “intoxicated”. If they were legal, maybe the negative effects of drugs would be more well known and deter more people than are currently being deterred. If drugs were legal, they would probably be cheaper which would attract more users, they would also be more available. Maybe not more available to minors though because all sales would be regulated.
I would have to think that if drugs were legalized, some would soon be “reillegalized” because of overdoses on heroin or people developing mental illness from meth. This makes me wonder why alcohol is still legal, oh yeah, too many people are in favor of it for it to be illegalized.
On one hand, I feel like it would virtually end drug use by showcasing the negatives. On the other hand I feel like it would turn society into raging drug addicts. I think we would have more drug addicts, becuase if it’s available, people will buy and do it. The good thing about illegality is the lack of availabilty.
I guess that doesn’t answer the original question about weed though.

we have over doses all the time and they are illegal now . I do not think if heroin were legal that many if any more would use drugs . There may even be a faction that would not use drugs if they were legal that presently use them because of their illegality
If drugs were legal why would you use Meth when Clean High grade amphetamine would be available . Heroin would be pharmaceutical grade (no more junk)as in low quality heroin cut with everything from drain cleaner to rat poison.
You would probably find addicts that were not a total drain on society. (Functional addicts like functional Alcoholics )

You guys really need to get out more. How much have you traveled? I am 21 years old and been to 14 different countries so far. I have been all across Europe and it is funny how dumb the Europeans think our view on weed is. Prostitution and weed are both legal in the Netherlands and they are doing just fine. Maybe if we would have better parenting and teach our children how to properly use drugs this wouldn’t happen. Drinking and smoking is fine in moderation. Instead we Americans think no its so bad and then people view it as taboo so when they do use it they decide to go ham(hard as a motherfucker) and then cause problems.
I view smoking weed as a spiritual thing. It is not a weakness by any means. I have fun doing it, I don’t cause trouble, it makes me think about life, and also makes sex better. My lungs are fine, you can’t O.D. on it and it is very rare to be violent while high on weed.
The constant argument on people driving on it. Are you kidding me? Have I drove while high? Yes. Was it safe? Not entirely. Did I feel like I was going to kill anyone? Hell no I was probably the most cautious driver on the rode because I was so paranoid. American research on weed? Bitch please, that is like American research on steroids. Just going to say what they want to be portrayed instead of facts.

I think your experience as being Spiritual may be one factor that scares the Jesus crowd . I can understand it but by nature i am some what extroverted when I smoke I become some what introverted and self analytical ,. I can definitely see the spiritual aspect
