Legalizing Weed

Well it’s legal in Ma amd.I’ve figured out how to be an entrepreneur, I’ll go to my doc fet him to write me a script for the umpteen ailments I have, then when the dispensaries open here I’ll sell my what I get. I mentioned this to two peopke who smoked and they both jumped at buying my ill gotten weed from me. So I’ve learned two things weed smokers are dumb, as I’m sure rhey could do the same if they went to there doctors, and two they’re lazy and would rather wait until someone else does all the work for them
So, you would abuse the system and do something illegal. It kind of undermines the whole concept that, at least there will be access for people like cancer patients, ptsd sufferers, amputee vets, etc. could benefit from this. Sure there are going to be people like yourself who are smart enough to take advantage of it, that also smoke. But if it can help people and in the big picture isn’t hurting anybody, why violate it?

Why not this is the NEW America, why should I do the right thing if no one else does?

Because it’s the right thing to do and that in and of itself is good enough to do it.

Medical Marijuana at dispensaries cost like 3x the amount it would on the street.

 2. Get weed 3x blackmarket price
 3. Sell super expensive weed to friends who can find it cheaper on the corner
 4. PROFIT

Go to doc
Get script
Buy weed on street
Sell at more than the price of medicinal by using ‘I had to get a script I’m just helping you out’ story.
Make SUPER profit.

That’s what’s happening here…

Seems like the problem is the illegality

To a degree yes. I have my rec and currently live in the same town I grew up in… Naturally I know a lot of people in town, there are dealers who compete with dispensaries that I’ve seen very low, to very high levels.

There’s definitely a niche for illegal dealers but it’s tricky. You have to either target people who don’t have recommendations, or you have to have a product that is superior, and cheaper than what the customer could get legally.

The latter isn’t common unless it’s just after harvest… There are just a lot of seasonal growers who have been doing it illegally and legally for many years, so when harvest hits, late, early etc there ends up being an abundance of quality pot because the area and climate are good for pot, and the people know their strains.

Dealing illegally, it’s done, there’s some money to be made off it, and it’s really difficult to regulate because of the nature of pot… Like, an officer isn’t going to be able to pull me over, sniff my jar and tell I got that particular strain from a street dealer.

Off season, people are pickier about their product… Everyone knows what good indoor is, and unless you are a rookie or novice, you are probably sticking with a dispensary or growing your own.

I think as people smarten up, they just end up growing their own, since we are allowed 12 plants, which is plenty for an individual with a hydroponic setup.

LOL

This logic makes no sense. I have seen infants hospitalized for sticking forks in electric plugs. That doesn’t mean we ban electricity.

If your INFANT is smoking, somebody who wasn’t a baby helped his ass do it.

I find it hard to believe hospitals are being filled with infants who need to be treated for being too high or having smoke burns on their finger tips?

I was unable to find any actual reason those people went to the hospital after eating pot brownies. They were hospitalized for being high lol. “Help! Take me to the emergency room; I’m high as shit!”

“Gerhardt said now that the drug is legal for adults in the state there will be more and more cases like that, or of children finding their parents pot supply and getting sick or in trouble.”

“She says they are now expecting to see more and more problem dependance cases with the passage of Amendment 64.”

“I can?t imagine how bad it?s going to get with full blown legalization.”

“now that pot is legal in Colorado it will be hard to keep away from curious and unknowing kids”

Title of article: “Our Problems Have Exploded with Pot Legalization”

So the article says problems have exploded, and then it proceeds to not show us how people are anticipating that they will.

Does anyone remember that episode of South Park where they accidentally blow up that dam?

Reporter: “We’ve got reports of widespread looting and murder”
News Station: “You’ve actually seen looting and murdering there?”
Reporter: “No Tom we haven’t seen it, we’re just reporting it”

That’s just sour grapes from the narc who’s now gotta find something else to do with his life because his job is becoming obsolete. Csulli’s right, that article had absolutely no evidence supporting its claim. In contrast:

http://www.cbsnews.com/2100-500368_162-4222322.html

Mind you medical marijuana does NOT make you high so his reference to some kid getting someone’s medical supply makes no sense. What made the kid go to the hospital? He suddenly DIDN’T need to throw up?

That article makes me laugh the more I think of it.

Yes.

Both are foolish, should the cops grab one, the other is most likely fucked. Would you want your fate in someone else’s hands ?

Professor, I was grabbed 6 YEARS later by the DEA, and as I watched my front door get blown off it’s hinges, my thoughts at the moment could not be formed, well the K-9 dog barking in my ear didn’t help either.

This depends on the kind of weed you’re smoking. If you are smoking some shag weed, then yes. But if you’re used to some Chronic from Humbolt, than hell no.

What are these people being hospitalized for? What did they do. pump her stomach?

Hell no, they sent her home. How is this news?

This shit is why I stopped watching television.

I could feel my brain shrinking from this shit.

They gave A KID a felony drug charge because of a brownie???
