Squatt’n! I may come up with a 2 or 3 day plan to provide more flexibility. I may not & when the weather breaks some I’ll be back on my 3.5 day game. As it is, first squat day in a week & a half & it showed.

Back to back heatwave weekend days on Long Branch Beach. Ummmmm hidden gem. $7 weekend beach daily tags vs$10-11 for other North Jersey beaches. Weaker breaks (had that nice offshore wind today & they were still kinda meh) but not at all crowded & free parking less than a block from the boardwalk found easily at 11am on a nice Saturday in July. At the popular beaches you are 5+ blocks away to find free parking by 11am.

Going to be packing fish sandwiches for work for a few weeks. Side note, hair skin & nails look amazing after eating lots of sardines for the last 4-6weeks.

Thursday was Asbury Park & a few sets of pullups & dips for that pump. Friday was Ortley beach & no pullups or dips. Both days got in a few miles of walking & at least an hour per day swimming in the surf.
Friday night into Sunday morning I upped my bootleg cockpill dose & boosted my testosterone bout 10-12times.

Maybe strained my back on either abwheel or the pushups. Core strength way down after the barbell work. Very happy with how quickly 185 came up. 188lb post workout weight.

Days after lifting I get 2 egg cheese & hot sauce on toasted bagel sandwiches, otherwise just one generally. They were out of the rye bagels I usually get & they forgot to toast these but still tasty. 1 on an everything & the other on a fire bagel which is baked with cheese & hot sauce in the dough. 11am “lunch”. Breakfast is almost always 4jumbo eggs, toasted Dave’s powerseed slice & glob of cream cheese.
Oh, I worked in weighted pullups with squats yesterday. Worked up to 55 for 3? 5? All sub max stuff.
Wow it was 2years ago I tried & failed to return to Cali. Time flies. That Oregon eclipse tho.

Got some kind of tendinitis in my ankle after split squats last session & it acted up again after the last set of 225. Was going to do a breathing set (15?) with the 185 but called it after I had pain during reps. Not trying to tear an achillies or something with no insurance & a labor job.

Grill lit for chicken. Arms pumped so hard they hurt leaving the gym. Haven’t gotten that from pullups in a while, haven’t done close grip chins in a while either. 190 pre-work out & hungry.
Punch in punch out. Felt under-recovered from squats. Seemed like my upper abs/serattus/rib muscles (ugh hate to say it but “core”) were quick to fatigue & bracing hard had less of an effect. Possibly under-recovered due to lower quality sleep, less total calories & less protein in last few days.
