I stand corrected. But you did say 450.
Second post from the bottom on the first page. I’m not sure about a camera phone video. I think they work like pictures in that they are sent to another location to be downloaded. My phone doesn’t have video ![]()

It’s fine if you feel that without abs or with your current body fat you’re not looking hot for the beach (in February). Or even if you don’t feel as good about how you look.
But the thing is, you posted and asked for advice on a Bodybuilding website (and this is one of the more savage forum-sections from what I can tell), and what you really should be doing to reach your physique goals is bulking.
Brings me back to GetSwole’s quote - don’t ask for advice when you already know what you are going to do, and especially when you already (should have at least) know people are going to tell you to do the opposite.
I’m still looking for the lats. Where are they?

If you say so.

Why is everyone so hell bent on being huuuggeee? I’m sure this will get some rants, but FYI a clearly defined set of abs will do more than an overly muscular fat physique in most aspects in life. Silly. He doesn’t need to diet, and I’d be the first one to tell him if he did. That’s not to say a lifter can’t choose to be leaner in the summer for aesthetic reasons. But he can easily lose a solid 6 lbs of fat in the month of May with a much less extreme approach than Get Shredded. Until then, he can continue to make progress and gain size and strength in the meantime folllowing the same sensible approach he has been. Something he should be doing for now whether or not the ultimate goal is to be huge.
Seems like he’s done well up to point. Made solid gains with minimal fat increases. And Get Shredded would not be a sensible approach for him. I love it and had great results, but it should only be used by people who have been training for years and have built a really solid base of size and strength. A less experienced, less developed lifter is much more likely to just spin their wheels and risks losing muscle and strength and suffering a big setback in their progress.
Honestly, I think the publication of Get Shredded and the Velocity diet have been big diservices to a lot of the lifters on this site. I wish their was some prerequisite screening where you have to send your pictures to the authors before they send you the diet. I choose not to post pictures publicly but I would send them to the authors of top notch plans forr purposes like these. Most of the people using these plans simply aren’t ready and have no business doing them. Other approaches would better serve their goals, certainly their longterm goals.

I never asked for advice?
Maybe you didn’t read the subtitle of the rate my physique forum.
It says
“Rate My Physique
Looking for some constructive criticism? Post your photos here, if you dare!”
So we gave you constructive criticism, this isn’t hot or not guy, guess you misunderstood the premise.
ZING!

Lol he’s gonna post a video of him strugging with 135[/quote]

strength gains… i think i went from being able to do something like 155 on bench for 10 reps to 225 for 10 reps
deadlift something like maybe 185 for 6 reps to 415 for a 1 rep max … but that was 7 months in i haven’t dl’d for two months
dips - like 25 lbs for 8 reps at bodyweight 160, to something like 120 for 8 reps at bw 185 /(170 lbs 1 rep max)
10 bw weight pullups at 155 - to 1 pullup plus 100 lbs at bw 190
military press (standing) 95 for 8 to 155 for 6
bent over row-- like 135 for 6 , to 215 for 6 (no body english/leg drive)
bb curl 55 for 8 - to like 95 for 8 - 120 for 3
skull crusher about the same as bb curl
waist increase not sure… never measured before or after… like i said i have visible upper abs so i never really worried that i was getting too fat
Wut kind of workout did u follow? my bench is hard for me to increase compared to lower body exercises
lots of different ones… mostly 4 day upper lower splits… couple TBT 3 day routines… 1 lift a day was particularly useful for strength gains…
that program definitely increased my stength than any other
