Large Variations in Testosterone Levels after Blood Tests

I posted a few weeks ago about having a very high Test Level on a blood test (2128 ng/dl) and with the help of some fine folks own this site was able to determine it was most likely due to the time of the blood test in relation to the time of the injection. I had been tested the day AFTER the injections.

So, I took a 2nd blood test this time on the day BEFORE my next injection. It had been 7 days since the last injection. This test came back today and was 884 ng/dl.

Is it normal to have this kind of variation between peak and trough days?

Exogenous testosterone (cypionate) peaks in 10-16 hours, then declines thereafter. Getting labs done a day after injections versus 7 days later will show a dramatic difference.

You should always run labs at trough, right before your injection. That 2128 ng/dL is bogus, your levels were never really that high and is the result of testing too early.

Yep.
