Ok back at it today went in ad deadlifted on the 5/3/1 busted out eight on my last set so that was good. From there moved onto good mornings followed by leg raises and some calf work.

Finished up with some treadmill time of 20 min at 10 or 15%. Not a bad night at the gym since I’m recovered from my 48 at work and enjoying 4 day!!!

At the firehouse today, not much in the way of calls so far.

Started off the day going through our new agility test, walked it at a REALLY slow pace and still finished in under 8 min.

For the workout today 20 min on the treadmill 10 walking at 20% then 10 doing intervals run/walk. Then messed around with limited weights that are here. Did some shoulder work (YTWL) and then some arnold presses. Followed by some tri extensions and bicep curls.

Well another firehouse workout today 20 min on the treadmill for 253 cal burned, HR was an AVG of 143. Then did some floor presses and some bent over rows. Followed by some cable flies and finished with some ab work. It sucks not having full resources or weights at my disposal while at certain houses. But oh well our chief wants us to keep some left in the tank and not kill ourselves doing a workout. You never know when it’ll be your turn to get to go and have some fun!!

Ok back on four day started off today by doing squats on the 5/3/1 workout. It went well, I messed up on my reps starting with 5 then doing 3 and finishing with 5. Followed by some leg presses and seated leg curls with some seated calf thrown in.

Finished with 15 min on the treadmill burning off 293 cal in the process. Hopefully this afternoon I can go and hit some golf balls.

Alright today was bench, it didn’t go quite as well as I hoped but I did manage to go the weight and get in an extra rep.

Followed with 20 min cardio intervals walk/run then hill walking 15%.

All in all not a bad workout.

Well yesterday was straight cardio from hell. I hate doing yardwork for three hours in the middle of the day but that’s what it was. Pushing the lawnmower around (yes pushing not self propelled) and then trimming up the tree from the last massive spring storm we had.

Today was firehouse and it is wonderfull to no longer be “roving” and have a steady home (at least for the next four months)!

Well I started the last year of my 30’s a couple days ago while on shift. Needless to say I wasn’t too enthused about working out!

But back to it today did my deadlift workout on 5/3/1 managed to get 6 reps on the last set of DL’s. Followed by some treadmill cause it needed to be done, burned off a quick 330 cal in 20 min.

Well working a stand in today, so did some cardio type stuff at the firehouse. Stationary bike and treadmill as well.

Tomorrow is military and chins on 5/3/1, hopefully tonight isn’t too bad but I am on the engine so it’s a quick turn around on EMS calls.

Well to busy days of running calls so no real workouts were done. Did get the military/chins workout in the day before coming back to work so that was good. Also managed to get in a round of golf, shot like crap but I was happy about it.

Alright well four day is coming to an end. Did get in my squat and bench final workouts on 5/3/1. Will finish up with deadlifts and military next week. I’m not taking a deload since I only get 2-3 every seven days and I’m still making gains.

Attending my daughters dance recital tonight and back at it in the morning. Luckily this week is only a 24 since I’ve got a trade for Sunday but that means there is a 72 in my furture.

Debating whether or not I should start posting my numbers or not…

Well back at it today, but I hate working out at 24hr on a monday night.

So I changed up what I was doing today and ended up spending time on the treadmill and stairmaster. Spent 30 min total on the two.

Followed up with some planks and ab work and called it a day.

Ok yesterday was deadlifting, it went well did more for 5 reps than I know I ever have.

Finished it up with 90 minutes of pushing a lawn mower around as cardio!

Alright I did get my military workout in before coming back to work, also did 30 min of good cardio also. Debating whether or not to deload next week and do a bunch of crossfit style workouts. We have a major training coming up on Thursday when we get back and I don’t want to be too gassed for it.

Today I’m back in the firehouse, got distracted tonight so no workout was done. I’ll get up and get on the treadmill in the AM and then plan on doing some more in the afternoon (crossfit style).

We’ll see how that goes or if calls happen to mess it up!
