Ok yesterday was a day off cause I needed one.

Today was back at the firehouse for another fun and exciting 48 at the slowest house we have.

Did some crossfit tonight 20 min of;

5 pull ups
10 ring push ups
15 sit ups
20 squats
25 jump rope singles

HR avg 135 max 156

Alright yesterday was shoulder and arms on the lactic acid. My weight and body comp is holding steady so I’m going to start using the fitday website to work on dialing in my nutrition and see if I can drop a little.

Also did 20 min of interval running various speeds, inclines and declines.

Ok a general post here, had to take a couple days off to care for the Mrs.

Managed to get in a workout today at the firehouse. Did crossfit style some rowing, push press and sit ups. Ended with some push ups, pull ups and 15 min more rowing.

Tomorrow will be a challenge as I am roving the district.

I think I have program ADD! I can’t seem to stay motivated for one particular program.

So tonight I picked back up a Waterbuty workout.

Today was day one of the summer project, the weights felt good but just getting used to the one let movements again.

Ok today was cardio, did 20 min on the precor burned 275 cal and then did 10 min of crossfit keeping my HR above 150.

Ok today was summer project workout 2 everything was 3x12.

Wasn’t, my weights were a little off so that needs some tweaking. Working on keeping the rest periods short enough (I may have had them too short though).

Followed it with 10 min on the treadmill at 10% incline and 3.7mph. That kept the heart rate around 145 to 150.

I’m now using fitday.com to help with the nutrition part, it’s really shocking to see some of the numbers. You don’t realize how much fat is in some stuff!

Yesterday was an off day, stayed up way too late with the kiddos playing monopoly the night before and was up real early with the Mrs. Add in running around like crazy all day to get ready for work and that kills the day right there.

Today it’s firehouse time again! And we started off with 3.5 hours of classroom training right off the bat! Talk about a day killer!!! I’ve got a Spike in me and I don’t know if a workout is gonna happen today or not.

Well I haven’t updated in awhile so here goes. Workouts have been so so not great so I decided to make a big change and go for the 5/3/1 workout.

Did the first squat workout yesterday, it went well I estimated my maxes low (they weren’t high by any means anyway).

So we’ll see how the next several weeks progress. Because of my work schedule I can only lift two days during my four day. So we’ll see how this plays out.

Alright the damn weather screwed up the rest of the week.

Did the bench workout today, it went good the weights were too light but I can correct that.

Since I’m at the firehouse the workout was interrupted and replaced by cardio at the end.

Today it was climbing several flights of stairs in full gear.

Well today sucked! Had 5 calls after 2300 which meant about 2.5 hours total sleep. I was dragging a$$. So training today was a 3 hour nap since I felt like I had been run over and out drinking all night!

Will get back at it tomorrow, looking at the DL workout.

Oh I wish it would have been just the snow. They had that stupid rave party at the Events Center. So we had some call overage because of that.

Too many Dr visits and issues with the Mrs… still no DL workout and motivation is waining fast.

Hopefully get some dinner in the kids and head out to the gym.

Ok did the DL workout yesterday FINALLY! Feeling it a little bit today, but I think I’m feeling the Good Mornings more, not sure I had my form correct on those.

Wow what ascrewed up week this has been. Medical problems with the mrs make it tough to get in and workout. Managed to make it in yesterday finally for the military press and chin workout on 5/3/1.

Today was the second squat workout for the 5/3/1. Did box squats instead of regular. Felt pretty dood, followed with some incline walking on the treadmill.

Well today was just cardio. Did 30 on the treadmill 2 min walking 2 min running. Managed to put in 500 cal. HR Avg 151.

Did some accessory work called it quits.

Alright today was bench 5/3/1 and I did over the recomended reps on the main bench part. So I have a feeling my weights will be really coming up in the future. I did what the manual said though and estimated light (I think too light now), but I can correct that on the next cycle.

Well the past two days have been at the firehouse. Managed some cardio and crossfit style yesterday.

Then had a night from hell with three calls after one am (UGH) after staging for an hour because of a fire.

So this morning was 30 min of cardio followed by some accessory work and stretching.

Back to the 5/3/1 workout tomorrow with deadlifts!!

Well today’s was deadlifts on 5/3/1. It was a struggle to get through the workout even with a spike on board. Hopefully tomorrow will be different energy wise for doing the cardio workout I need.
